sheldon dutes is live with more. what can you tell us? >> firefighters think it may have started in the kitchen door back bedroom of the home. it is located on the bay community in anne arundel land happened this morning. they saw the flames and smoke coming through the roof. while the firefighters were searching the home, they found the body of a woman inside. they say she died from her injuries and was pronounced dead at the screen. -- at the scene. they had to travel way to get water to help stop the fire. >> this is extremely stressful which is why we bring in extra personnel to compensate. >> this is the second fatal fire in anne arundel. the results of the fire last

week, they went door-to-door passing out smoke alarms and checking them in the home. but they do not think the smoke alarms were an issue in this most recent fire. >> two firefighters issue -- work injured at this blaze of started in a three-story apartment building. part of the building actually collapsed while they were trying to put out the flames. 40 people are now displaced. they're thankful no one was injured. >> we all got out safely. >> right now, no word on the firefighters condition. nine days since that line of storms slammed the state knocking out power for hundreds of thousands of people. good news. b g e says it has been restored to everybody impacted by the

storm. they were finishing work on the last 30 or so outages and we have word they are done. the be ge spokesperson says there watching mother nature closely as more storms are in the area. >> the next time we will have to do this, we will be better prepared than this time. >> 748,000 customers in central maryland lost power. tom tasselmyer is your keeping an eye on these new storms. what do you have? >> these will stay mostly south of baltimore, good news for those who have been out of power for so long. not so good news for those in the d.c. area. he advisory still in effect in these areas where the heat is sticking around.

month old girl is in critical condition after being left in a hot car. startling news tonight where three kids went missing overnight and it turns out all three drowned. they went missing this morning. right now, they do not expect foul play, but they're waiting for more information. investigators want to know why a man was shot and killed and 97100 block-- in the 7100 block of parkville. no word yet on a motive. it was good while it lasted. gas prices were on a 78-day downfall. well intentions in the middle

>> a close call in bethesda as this crane collapses. a tree service was removing logs and trees from last weekend's storm and it was lifting a long that it was too heavy to handle. it tipped over with the operator inside. now comes even more difficult task of moving the grain without damaging any houses. new concerns this weekend after the huge wild fires in the southwest. now they're worried about flooding. people are being warned to watch out for flash flooding. even though moisture has moved in, the fire danger is still extremely high dense.

longtime massachusetts representative barney frank tied the knot with his longtime partner. they married last night surrounded by more than 300 friends. frank is getting ready to retire after 30 years in office. he has been openly gay since the late 1980's and is the first sitting congressman to enter into a same-sex marriage. the mayor was on hand to make the announcement about the farmer's market. making sure residents have access to healthy foods coming up. >> a few severe thunderstorms pushing across southern maryland as a cold front comes in trying to push out the heat. the seven-day forecast coming up. 84 currently on tv hill.
