right now. >> good morning. one problem in at windsor mill. old court road at carleton lane, police are reporting to an accident. 66 on 70 moving in from 32 towards the beltway. problem free as we traveled south on 95 towards 100. 11 minutes on the outer loop northeast side. eight minutes to travel on 895 from the 95 merged down to the harbor tunnel tolls. here's a quick live look at traffic. we should see some delays but a nice start as you travel from 795 to the west side. this is the j.f.x. at coldspring lane. problem free from the beltway all the way into town. that is the latest on traffic

pulse 11. >> a firefighter is facing charges of running a prostitution ring out of a baltimore warehouse. >> jennifer franciotti is live with the story. i understand the suspect has a history in this. >> firefighter jamar simmons was arrested for a separate case involving a prostitution ring. we do know that he has been a firefighter since 2002. on monday, police detectives raided his alleged headquarters in a warehouse in southwest baltimore. according to court documents, detectives have been investigating him along with franklin coit since november of last year. >> we found a handgun, ammunition, a small amount of marijuana, and various ledgers and documents that would suggest that an online

prostitution and human trafficking operation was being conducted from the location. >> how investigators found out about the alleged prostitution ring and more on his 2010 arrest for a similar case of prostitution coming up at 6:30. including how he was able to keep his job with the fire department. >> more controversy with the fire department involving a potential raise for fire chief james clack. the mayor is expected to request that his salary be bumped. the mayor's office said he deserves the raise because of his strong record in a recent drop in fire fatalities. some called the idea of a raise outrageous. >> this is a slap in the face to every man and woman in the baltimore city fire department. how can you possibly accept a

raise when you've told your members there are no raises? there is no money in the city of baltimore to give a raise. how can you yourself as chief of the fire department accept a raise? >> the mayor credits the chief by saving the city money by reducing overtime. >> a 13th police officer is heading to prison for his role in a kickback scheme. a judge sentenced jaime lugo to wo years of prison. he faces sentencing in federal court next month. >> a composite sketch has been released hoping to find -- detectives say this man shot a victim in the leg on east lombard street. this happened the night of june 30. anyone with information should call baltimore city police.

a body was found in the park heights neighborhood over the weekend. he was shot and stabbed near spaulding avenue. no word as to a suspect or a possible motive. >> there will be a planning meeting this evening. the planning department wants to ales. out liquor s violent crimes tends to cluster around liquor stores. the zoning change would affect about 100 stores. >> people that are brought up in that environment is not going to change because there is no liquor store. the good point of the liquor store is being the problem for people's bad behavior is wrong. >> the planning director says

monterrey, temperatures in the 50's this morning. -- on the boardwalk at ocean city, 75 degrees. scattered clouds. down to the south is where the unsettled weather is going to be. a front drops down into the carolinas similar to yesterday. the front is farther south. we have a battle with all this high pressure to the north. the hike is trying to move but the front is stalled. everything is kind of the way it was yesterday. you can see the cool air in the great lakes and the northeastern part of the u.s. and that is associated with the high pressure. it gets a little more humid down to the south. our forecast for today is similar to yesterday.

if free trade has to melt lead to a massive fire. the train was carrying agricultural products when it derailed and some of the cars burst into flames at 2:00 a.m. this morning and that led to an explosion. people living with the day when mile radius of the fire have been evacuated. officials are not sure what is burning but a hazardous materials team is on the scene. >> we should find out just how bad the recent heat wave has damage to nation's crop. monthly crop estimates will be released today. expect to pay more from everything from cereal to sweetener. it is the worst crop in years, said one former.

police detectives raided his alleged headquarters at this warehouse in southwest baltimore on monday. >> we found a handgun, ammunition, a small amount of marijuana, and various ledgers and documents that would suggest that an online prostitution and human trafficking operation was being conducted from the location. >> detectives have been investigating simmons and 33- year-old franklin coit since november of last year. a cyber tip led them to a website advertising jobs for prostitutes. an informant said simmons and coit had three to six girls working as prostitutes at any given time, either at the warehouse or at various hotels. this is not the for first time both men had been in trouble with the law. both men were arrested after arranging a prostitution meet- up two years ago. simmons was given pbj, or probation before judgment, and a fine. a spokesperson explained why simmons kept his job after that
