>> we begin tonight with a check on some breaking news. a plane grounded at b.w.i. thurgood marshall airport. let's go back live to captain roy taylor for the latest on the situation. >> we are at southwest airlines gate a-1. a flight attendant became ill. they landed here and said there was some type of odor on the aircraft. fire crews responded and were able to detect some type of agent. the flight attendant was transferred to baltimore washington medical center. they are still detecting some type of agent, but they don't know what it is. right now they are checking out the pilot to see if he has any issues.

from 76-80. right at the normal level for this time of the year and only the second time this month we have not hit 90 or better. this record goes all the way back to 1908. it can get cool, it can get very hot. right now we are just in between. high clouds across the region here, a thicker clouds to the south toward roanoke and southern west virginia. clouds and showers have made it noticeably cooler, 75 in roanoke compared to 85 here. even warmer as you get up into new england, where they have had a lot of sunshine. partly to mostly cloudy over

night and the cloud cover acts as a blanket and traps the heat of the day near the ground. low 7's downtown, sunset at 8:34. high pressure moving slowly toward new england. over the weekend, a more southerly flow of air will start to bring some of that cloud cover and moisture in our direction. saturday, more clouds and a little less humidity. it looks like some scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon hours on sunday as well, especially to the west of baltimore and on up into the mountains. a mixture of clouds and sunshine around baltimore on friday.

plate and may have given the best pitching performance of the year. adam jones crushed mcdonnell for a three-run shot. davis got mcdonald's to ground a double play to end the game. the best moment of a great first half for the orioles. i cannot wait to see what we've got in the second half. jessica long continues to put her stamp on the record books. she won her second female handicap of the athletes of the year award. five more world record set in the u.s. trials this year.
