manager at pitney bowes and a contractor will lead to an altercation. they took the 28-year-old into custody. >> he said, "i'm a joker. i am going to get my guns and blow everyone up." >> police say that that was an allusion to the mass shooting in aurora, colorado last week. >> we take any threats seriously. this was a serious threat based on the weapons capability he had come out what he said to the employees at pitney bowes. >> anne arundel police went to the apartment complex where he lived to talk to him. during the field interview, the individual was wearing a t-shirt that said "guns don't kill

people, i do." so, the multiple threats, that action together led us to a place where we could get an action. >> police along with bureau of alcohol and firearms agents found weapons and ammo. >> we recover approximately 25 firearms, several thousand rounds of ammunition. semiautomatic rifles, semi- automatic pistols. >> prescott was taken to the anne arundel county center for a medical evaluation. charges against him are still pending. pitney bowes is a government contractor that offers mail supplies. the employee was a subcontractor. he has not been on anyone's

property for more than four months. reporting live at the prince george's county police headquarters, wbal-tv 11 news. >> all rights. in the meantime, the nation is still coming to terms with the tragedy in aurora, colorado. one man who did not know the victims is on a mission to keep their memory alive. >> a policeman has been taken to shock trauma. authorities are only confirming a crash happened. it happened on 33rd and alameda. we are told a civilian involved in the crash did complain of minor injuries. and a routine call for baltimore city paramedics turns out to be anything but routine when the porch collapses.

still investigating a fire in an apartment complex that left 16 residence without a home tonight. the fire began shortly after 2:00 this morning. officials say the rest of the building's upper water and smoke damage. one firefighter suffered minor injuries. no word yet on what started the fire. anyone who lost power during last night's strong storms should be back in business at this hour, but there were more than 7000 customers in at the dark at one point. no drop in temperatures that. let's check in with tom that some minor -- tom tasslemyer. >> we can see the storms are developing up in pennsylvania, some severe storms up that way.

identity of the torch bearer is a closely guarded secret. a man from anne arundel county is accused of threatening to shoot up his place of employment. he had some 25 firearms in his apartment. we are told that man, who was a subcontractor for pitney bowes, has not worked there in four months. he is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation and has not been charged with anything. we will have more on this story on a 11 news at 6:00. >> victims of that movie theater massacre are laid to rest today. survivors are looking for strength in the wake of the killings, strength that for some of them comes with helping our nation in the toughest times. >> greg is an artist.
