>> he is in an anne arundel center for a mental evaluation. investigators believe he may have made the threat because he was about to get fired. the investigation involves prince george's county and anne arundel police. >> i believe serious violence could have happened. >> alarming conversations between as supervisor at a pitney bowes office in capitol heights and the contractor lead to a 36-hour police investigation. police got a search warrant to check out the home of neil prescott and took him into custody for a mental evaluation. the police chief says he threatened to kill. >> he said "i am a joker and i am going to load my guns and blow everyone up."

the heat index, the extreme heat we had, it feels like 105 degrees in salisbury. no. pennsylvania, that will move thugh baltimore tonight. i think we will be local -- we will be a couple of degrees cooler. on this north side of the front, there may be a few scattered showers and thunderstorms to contend with. again, hopefully not interrupting the soccer game. deeper into the afternoon, we start to trigger those showers. sunday, i think you'll see it drier weather. isolated showers around the bay on the eastern shore. overall, sunday will be the better day this weekend. insta-weather plus forecast tonight -- 68 suburbs. slight risk of a thunderstorm tonight. light and variable. tomorrow, the chance it pops up
