this year's grand prix of baltimore. the streets are being transformed into a race course. kim dacey has details on the latest construction. >> good morning. the first construction is on conway street -- sc will be closed from light street to howard street from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. monday through friday from now until august 3. it takes 22 million pounds of concrete, 15,000 tires, and 2200 fence panels to construct the course for the grand prix of baltimore. the process got underway on monday, one month before the track is set to open. last year during the grand prix, some businesses just outside the track suffered losses instead of a spike in business. organizers are taking extra steps to make sure that businesses do not suffer again. >> we have a nighttime construction schedule. we are making sure that we're working with the city, that

i was a little offbeat but i stayed afloat. the only issue was my finale. i looked anything but graceful. synchronized swimming is about swimming with glamour all the way to the anend. when in doubt, a little jazz hands goes a long way. that was the thing that i felt about the longtime. i had some water in my eye. they are a local group and a lot be performing at patterson park this weekend. >> stan has been doing the jazz hands all morning. heat will be doing this all the
