dozen weapons in the home of neal presscott. he is charged only with misdemeanor telephone misuse. he has been receiving an emergency psychiatric evaluations into a stick into custody. there is a new development in maryland cost gun permit law. the state can continue enforcing the law that requires residents to show a good and substantial reason to carry a handgun. the u.s. fourth circuit court of appeals granted a stay. this new ruling comes after a federal judge decided to lift the stay on his finding that the state's law was unconstitutional. the federal appeals court has also extradited the case for review. arguments are tentatively scheduled for october. >> a baltimore city police officer has been indicted under the wiretap law. carlos villa is accused of

wiretapping a judge. he is charged with playing the recording for his colleagues. it stems from an incident in april when villa used his cell phone to record an argument he had with the judge over a warrant. it is illegal in maryland to use air recording without

someone's consent. the 18-year-old veteran of the force will be suspended without pay. a civil action alleges that mayor stephanie rawlings blake and others awarded more than 40

no-bid contracts totaling $250 billion yen they have passed -- the mayor says that the suit has no merit and the city will vigorously defend itself. the delegation chair is floating the idea of tying votes to

support legislation that would increase the city's borrowing

authority for school construction. the mayor explained in detail why she supports a sixth casino location and table games. under the current political landscape, she says, there is no likely scenario where the general assembly would allow something without adding a casino in prince george's county. >> a $21 million verdict awarded care.ily for negligent >> the birth took place at some of baltimore's harbor hospital in 2002. the baby was premature. according to the lawsuit, it was
