>> free tickets handed out by the hundreds to city officials. >> 11 news obtained correspondence detailing the free passes to show the arena. kim dacey is live this morning with the details. >> more than 300 pages of correspondence show the mayor and city council members attended a variety of shows a hearing at the 1st mariner arena for free. big-names name from concerts to sporting events to the circus. the mayor's office asked for five tickets for husband to attend a mma fight. scott gave tickets to city rec center is and school. we asked if he saw a problem in

asking for an accepting free tickets for personal use. >> if the tickets are given to the mayor, that is not for me to say. it is a drop in the bucket when you talk about the amount of tickets to the first marriage that are given out. >> a spokesman for the mayor's office said the city provides hundreds of complimentary tickets to hard working employees, school students, community groups. the policy of giving out tickets to city officials has been in effect since 1988. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> two demonstrators are behind bars after police say they caused a disturbance at city hall. police say two people entered

city hall demanding a meeting with the mayor. there were told such a meeting was not possible and with then arrested. nobody was hurt. >> a strange turn of events and with a police officer shooting a man. this unfolded yesterday morning. the officer learned that tavon williams had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge. he told the officer that he needed to use the restroom and then he bolted from the building. >> he backed up and tried to run the officer over. the officer fired three rounds. >> williams was picked up and taken to hospital. he is now in serious but stable condition. the officer is on administrative duty this morning.

fire officials are asking for some help to find two arson suspects. they entered the food lion in pasadena late last month and set off some kind of a firework. if you recognize the teenagers, it should call anne arundel county, fire investigators. parents are being targeted in a new anti bullying campaign in washington this week. >> hallie jackson is live with the details. what is the big message coming from the gathering? >> advocates want to make sure kids who see somebody getting

don't use mirena if you have a pelvic infection, get infections easily or have certain cancers. less than 1% of users get a serious infection called pelvic inflammatory disease. if you have persistent pelvic or stomach pain, or if mirena comes out, tell your healthcare provider. if it comes out, use back-up birth control. mirena may attach to or go through the uterine wall and cause other problems. although uncommon, pregnancy while using mirena can be life threatening and may result in loss of pregnancy or fertility. ovarian cysts may occur, but usually disappear. bleeding and spotting may increase in the first few months and continue to be irregular. periods over time may become shorter, lighter, or even stop. mirena does not protect against hiv or stds. oh, i can wait a little longer. ask about mirena. when you have time. did you know ? if you choose mirena to prevent pregnancy, it's also approved to treat heavy periods.

up 65 miles per hour. it will likely become a hurricane today. it is about 300 miles east of belize. probably south of cancun sometime tomorrow. continuing to track across the southern part of the gulf of mexico. it looks like it will stay south of the texas coast line. they could use the rain down at the southern plains. maybe it will turn the corner to the much needed drought-stricken areas. it will make landfall south of once it comes out over the water. here home, 71 in cockeysville. we had a front go through yesterday. take a look at the dew points.
