discovery. a partially decomposed human skull. >> police are trying to identify the body and determine whether they have a murder case on their hands. >> a startling discovery in deep. police tell us the skull was found just before 3:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon in that wooded area. even though homicide detectives are investigating, it is still too early to tell whether fault -- foul play was involved. unless you are a truck driver making a delivery, horey repair man like allen watson, you would never even know this wooded area existed. >> there were about half a dozen, maybe eight law- enforcement vehicles along the road on the right. and a csi unit and unmarked cars and stuff. >> he describes the scene where the partially decomposed gold

the temperatures mostly in the 80's. ernesto became a category one storm. it is organizing pretty well. the winds have come up to 80 miles per hour. it looks like it will make landfall as a category one hurricane. it will come across the southern part of the gulf of mexico and regenerate before it moves back in over the land of mexico. all of that is staying well to our south, at least this time. the best chance for showers and storms is on friday. the rain begins to slowly pull out of the area saturday morning. >> the catholic church and same- sex marriage. >> in the past few months, catholics have been some of the strongest opponents of the same sex law in maryland. >> there could be a change.

the rest of the body. police were called to the area just before 3:00 p.m. yesterday. a person made the discovery while going for a walk. the remains have to be identified and they need to determine the cause of death. anyone with information is asked to call the police department. and police are saying that surveillance cameras helped them solve the brutal murder of a 50- year-old last month. two men were caught on camera viciously attacking a man with a wrench in the early morning hours. according to charging documents, they had been stopped by patrol officers just a few hours earlier for its quarterly conduct. they were then -- for disorderly

conduct. they were then released. >> the gun man in the arizona at shooting spree last year pled guilty today. the judge found him competent. he will face life in prison without the possibility of parole. >> he had closely cropped hair and wore a khaki prison jumpsuit. he spoke softly. what jared loughner said during a hearing today spoke volumes. he rushed back to the federal court in tucson today behind the tinted windows of this suv. but this scarred community cannot hide the pain that lenders more than a year-and-a- half after the attack. >> it will never bring closure. it was too much havoc. >> no closure, but perhaps some answer. it began with the forensic psychologist. she is glad the 23-year-old as an aggressive, yelling
