week. kim dacey has the details. >> the meeting last night was the first in a series about the june storm. last night, the pfc got an earful. this customer is still frustrated after the june storm knocked out the power to her pasadena home and she had to wait several days to have it be restored. >> we did not have no fan because we had no electricity. >> the state commission is holding four hearings all over maryland to allow customers to voice frustration. the first hearing was in annapolis and 21 angry customers testified. >> i lost almost all the food in my freezer. i had no water because i have a well and septic system. i had to take my 84-year-old

street is now fixed. the 20 inch main ruptured last month creating traffic troubles downtown. we are told crews replaced the entire main plus two other lines nearby. repaving will begin this week. the maryland house and senate get back to work today as a special session continues. they are discussing a gambling bill. a casino could open july 1st, 2016 or 30 months after a casino opens in baltimore in 2014. the baltimore delegation also questions a senate provision that prohibits casino operators from contributing to political campaigns. >> some questions now are still being researched. if you have a company that owns multiple businesses, 40-50 businesses, will they be

jobs to the state and the sales to local businesses. you can know how your local restaurant fares when it comes to cleanliness and safety. a bill would require restaurants to oppose their most recent grade from the health department where customers can see it. the health department only publicly posts a list of restaurants forced to close to two violations. an amendment would require restaurants to pose the most recent ratings on their doors and online. >> you should be able to walk into your favorite restaurant and see the great. >> the devil is in the details. if you're changing your light bulbs, and seeing your garbage, cleaning your restaurants, it is going to show throughout the building. >> the health department says it supports the bill but officials want to be involved in determining the logistics of the

>> just in to the 11 news room, there are 300 city homes with out water right now as the department of public works repairs a main break. water was shut off last night to repair the main.

officials are encouraging residents to pick up water at any one of three locations, the oliver center at harbor road, the land of ours at the 1300 block of land -- landale powers and the senior center. some drivers in detroit are still recovering from a nightmare commute this morning. heavy rain created major delays. some drivers managed to get off to the shoulder, but not everyone was so lucky. some cars were submerged in about two feet of water. we are told a power outage caused a water pump to fail. five siblings, five weddings, one day. all went off without a hitch for one family in arizona. the concept was first mentioned as a joke, but given that five of the children were in gauge to be married, they decided it was a practical solution.

seems not all adults need to be screened for hearing loss. there is enough evidence for -- there is not enough evidence for routine hearing tests. hearing loss is extremely common after middle age. by age 80, nearly every adult has some form of hearing loss. experts say there is no proof a screening will prevent hearing loss. along with other problems associated with menopause, many women say they find it difficult to concentrate. that condition is being caused brain -- called brain fog and doctors say it is a common problem for women as their hormone levels change. there is no remedy for the condition, but doctors suggest brain exercises like word puzzles to keep your memory shark. >> now, your insta-weather plus

forecast. >> good morning. after a foggy start to the day it looks like the majority of the rain has cleared out of the area. to the south and east, thunderstorms are still pushing across the lower shore, heading right for ocean city. when we came back before the break, we saw a lot of people out on the beach. they are probably going to have to head in sind. things are likely to get a lot more active throughout the day. let's look at the cloud cover. that is a big piece of the picture right now. across the rest of the state, clouds are starting to thin out. the atmosphere is still unstable. thunderstorms could continue to pop up. it is the sun breaking out the brings the concern. here is a thunderstorm of to our west. right now, the lowest entered into ohio. -- the low is centered in ohio.

there is a secondary cold front coming in right behind it. these two storms coming in through of the week will actually bring our temperatures down, nothing drastic, but we actually do drop below normal as we get into the end of the week. however, there is a slight risk for severe weather. again, the combination of the sun breaking out with the instability. the entire stake, from western maryland all the way to the eastern shore, and a thunderstorm that pops up to date could be on the strong side. we cannot -- pops up to date could be on the strong side. we cannot rule out hail. looking at the future cast image, a couple of isolated thunderstorms later this afternoon and into the evening hours. it will be hard to pinpoint these on the map. we need to keep in mind that this is a threat for almost anyone. if these do not start to taper
