now to our big story at noon, a scam targeting the elderly. it hit a few more people over the weekend. it began with a phone call and someone impersonating a tax official. shelton dutes has the story. >> i don't expect your opt for that money. > -- to be robbed for that money. >> a scam is targeting elderly people across the city. what can a person would scam a full role people -- >> a creek. lowdown and crummy. >> senior citizens have been victimized. police have not released an exact number of cases, but two were reported this weekend alone. typically, police said that a woman calls the elderly victims claiming to be a baltimore city tax collector and tells them that their property taxes are

overdue. she goes on to say that if they don't pay, they will be evident from their homes. in some cases, the man in this composite sketch shows up at the front door to collect money. >> he has turned violent. it turns into more of robbery. >> i will like it at all. -- i don't like it at all. >> i think it is horrible as well. it is taking advantage of folks who do not have resources to protect themselves. >> police are urging everyone to be mindful of who was calling or stopping by their home and report any suspicious activity. >> we are following a developing story in dundalk. baltimore county police are on the scene of a homicide at the 400 block of the scarsdale road. officers arrived on the scene just after 7:00 a.m. police have released new details, and we now that the

victim is a male in his 20s. in baltimore, at least four people are recovering after a pair shootings. baltimore city police tells 11 news that three males were shot there sunday night, one of the victims of juvenile. he was rushed to hopkins johns hospital, while the other two men were taken to shock trauma. authorities are investigating a saturday night shooting in west baltimore. in that incident, at a 35-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body. investigators are combing the crime scene at the 600 block of ashburton street. baltimore county police have identified the victim of a weekend shooting at a hotel. investigators tell 11 news that an 18-rolled was shot and killed in the parking lot of the ramada hotel. the incident happened early
