was not good at all. >> the two women were rose mayr, a student at bellaire and elizabeth nass a student at jmu. both were 19 years old. both of the bodies were found on the main street bridge buried beneath coal dumped by the cars. two engineers on locomotives were uninjured. in a strange twist of fate, just before the derailment, one of tweeted two photos. >> it was a continuous boom, boom, boom. >> this man said it seemed surreal. >> it was unbelievable. cars laying on their side. it was totally amazing. >> the ntsb says the cause of the crash is under investigation and the cleanup

should last until the end of the week. >> i expect to be here today, tonight and most of tomorrow until we get our work done. >> if i could show you the live picture here, they are taking this car and the process they go through here is they have to pick it up with these cranes. the wheels are on the track and they're going to take the train and literally flipped it over. this is an extraordinary process of men and machines, getting these cards back on the track. it is upside down as you are looking at it. the ntsb says they are in the process of looking at signals, track conditions, and other bridges in that area and reviewing on board a videotaped to determine exactly what happened. but they say they did not see anything out of the ordinary. we will continue to follow the

remained and he is now being held without bail. we told you yesterday how police were called to a home at about 6:15 in the morning. officers say they found the victim dead in the basement. police were still on the scene when we brought you this story yesterday. wheat we are told an argument led to the stabbing. >> a baltimoreoman is behind bars after a brutal attack on women. police have arrested t 38- year-old man charged with armed robbery, assault, and a dozen other counts. it was on july 30 when police say she broke into the home, punching and choking the woman before dragging her into the basement. she fought back despite her attackers physical strength. she was left with serious scars and bruises. five more people are behind bars for prey on the elderly. we have learned this is part of

a larger crime rate taggart -- targeting the elderly residents. >> these five suspects, police say they conspired to con the elderly people of thousands of dollars. police are calling their alleged that is especially true considering the victims were between the ages of 70 and 95. police have dos -- have these -- have these people in custody right now. they are all arrested related to the properties scanned sure of -- targeting the elderly people. in each of the cases, the elderly victim got a call from someone claiming to be a tax collector. they said if they didn't pay, they would be evicted from their homes.

baltimore schools were operating on separate bell schedules. this year, it has been cut to half a dozen and that will affect bus schedules. on top of that, the bus fares have gone electronic. a dress down the city's school ceo made unannounced visits to dozens of buildings to check the back-to-school progress. we caught up with him in east baltimore. >> did you have any idea he was coming? >> i did not, but it doesn't matter. >> wire you doing this? >> just to check that the principles are getting the support that they need. >> support inside and out. more schools will sound of their first. bell at the same time and that will affect the ride to school. >> we wanted to become more effective and efficient. the time that some kids were spending on buses -- there were just too many bus schedules making it too difficult.

let's see where is it has formed this year -- east of the caribbean about 500 miles of science are getting more organized. the track takes us into pr and may be up into cuba over the next five days. winds over 40 miles an hour but it is forecasted to become a category one hurricane by the time is passing south of pr in the next two days and curving up toward the bahamas. this is just the general forecast track. there's a wide range that could happen but it's that time of year when we come more concerned because the favorable track is up toward the united states. we will just have to see where i sickos. for the time being, it doesn't feel that tropical. almost a fall-like feel to most of the area. almost winter like.
