condition. >> crews are working to restore service after this week's deadly train derailment in ellicott city. >> several road closures remain in effect this morning. csx officials expects train service to begin sometime within the next hour. officials are re-interviewing the operators. the accident claimed the lives of elizabeth nass and rose mayr. leaders gathered for a town meeting on wednesday. the meeting was scheduled before the train derailment. business owners were looking for the status of the cleanup. >> we rely heavily on the foot

the mess of main street. they came looking for answers about the status of the cleanup and to offer some suggestions. >> if we could get people to t off the right of way, thatould help. >> he thinks the fence along part of the train tracks should be extended. >> the fence line could be prevented and might prevent other people to have access to the tracks. this has happened three or four times before. >> business owners are waiting for parking issues as they wait for a main street to reopen. >> we rely heavily on the foot traffic. the outskirts and then walk in. so as of that point, it is going to be a lot slower. >> i had a bummed moment when i heard it might be another 48 hours. oh, no.

>> the viewing for one of the girls killed in the deadly derailment will be held tonight in ellicott city from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. we're expecting a live interview around 6:15. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> police are investigating a shooting in prince george's county. a suspect walked off on wednesday evening. police say he broke into a home and stole a gun and knife and left with the items. a police officer located the suspect and shot and killed the suspect when he tried to pull something from his waist. >> police say a woman left her mother on the toilet for two days back in january. investigators say she knew her

mother was in the bathroom but she had asked for any help. the woman died 10 days later. the i-team has lea a woman wanted for abusing an elderly man will return to town sometime today. police charged anastacia olouch with beating john taylor. before she was to stand trial, she fled to kenya. she faces multiple charges. >> barbara mikulski will be a speaker at the democratic national convention. she'll lead the program that highlights women candidates in 2012. a record number of women are running this november.
