much developing. a slight chance of the storm in the next hour but we will keep an eye on it. the activity is in northern frederick county. a slow-moving cell, no lightning associated with it, just a shower. very slow-moving and not a direct threat. the heavy storms by ocean city have moved off the coast in the past couple of hours. the torrential downpours have left the coast and moved out over the open water. checking the total amount of precipitation on the lower eastern shore, in the past 24 hours we have had spots around baltimore where you can work -- where you catch a brief shower. about 0.5 of 1 inch. 3 inches to 5 inches of rain. a real dredging down that way. you can see the impact it had on temperatures.

63 degrees at ocean city right now. we're running into the mid-80's. it is still quite monday. a risk of a shower popping up but it is less than a 20% chance that any one spot gets hit. otherwise it will be partly cloudy and muggy. 73 downtown. 7 -- sunset at 7:29 p.m. this is moving off the coast and another one will slide in. a couple of isolated storms along that front and a third one, the stronger one over the northern plains states behind it. there is a batch of fall-like air. some of that clear will be sweeping south and east in getting here the second half of the weekend. it will take a couple of days but the seven-day forecast starts to look very fall-like. another muggy day for tomorrow. sunshine until those isolated

cars following along with a helicopter. he is calling out where the vehicle is going. this has gone across all the way to 97. nella the inner loop of the beltway coming onto i-95. getting ready to run into some heavy traffic. all we know is the suspect, there is a warrant for the suspect but police are trying to make a safe apprehension. it looks like this individual is try to work his way southbound from the baltimore beltway. we will update you as we get more information. you want us to stay with this? the vehicle is in the process of going southbound on i-95. i have to do some talking with the tower so one second.

>> i have a quick question for you. as we see this car moving around on a major interstate, how do the vehicles know that the police -- to the have sirens and lights on? i see cars getting out of the way so they do not get involved in some kind of accident. >> the one has his lights and siren on. you can see he is driving up the shoulder of the road. there you go. right now, this vehicle is southbound on 95 back toward howard county. he is in baltimore county right now. as you see, this individual does not want to be apprehended. can you hold for one second? i will have to -- the guy stopped. it looks like they got the suspect stopped. >> that is a good thing. >> they're taking him down right now. we're southbound on i-95.

i think we're still stay up here. they are doing a felony stock. the police department is in the process of doing a felony stop. the individual realizes between the helicopter and the police car, he will not be able to get away. he has pretty much know where to go although i have seen before where they tried to take a guy down, all the sudden, they will try and take off as the officers approached him. >> the officers have their guns drawn. >> they do and they stopped traffic. they have stopped traffic southbound 95 south of the beltway and the southwest side. there is still a lot going on here. there is unmarked cars as well as marked cars and they're getting the individual out of the vehicle as we speak. it looks like this will be terminated here shortly and they have made an apprehension of the suspect. >> what is the standard police policy in cases like this? >> different agencies have different policies but the other

thing is the individual may have had a gun. a female that is armed. that is the other thing they were concerned about. in this pursuit -- it went from quite a ways. all the way around bwi up to baltimore county where the apprehension has been made. southbound 95 has been shut down while they deal with this apprehension of the pursuit. it looks like there is not anything -- any injuries. >> they took him into custody pretty handily there. >> they could not have done it without their helicopter. if they were not able to work the ground units when he was driving erratically, being able to report to the guys on the ground exactly what was going on. this may have had a different

outcome. police have responded to the scene to assist with traffic and the apprehension. >> it looks like a second person taken into custody, a passenger in the vehicle? >> the passenger allegedly had a gun. that is the of the concern. i do not have the full investigation -- information on the investigation. they had a description and spotted the car and tried to stop the car. the car took off. i'm sure there is more to this investigation that what we're seeing. in order for the ability to continue -- >> traffic is moving again on southbound 95. > we're trying to -- >> we're talking with the bwi tower. the helicopter has left the scene.

were without the team. the band continued to play and took on the role of ambassador. the band wanted to be part of an nfl team once again. modell made that possible. >> he took a chance and he called his buddies in the nfl and next thing you know we were doing games with the steelers and the patriots. >> he also brought back the marching band, making them the official band of the team. they're known as baltimore's marty ravens. 40 years ago officials were concerned that art modell would not be inducted into the hall of fame. they decided to chip in and buy this blacklisting his accomplishments and present it to him during a special ceremony. >> that is the last thing you see because we wanted to make

sure it is modell in your mind. what art modell did for the city of baltimore. he cared about the fans and adored the fans. he said there were the best -- the most important commodity next to the players. >> when art modell moved his team, it was one of the most controversial decisions about his career but he was always very grateful to the city of baltimore. in 2001 before the afc championship game, he said -- he sat down with jane miller and he was quite candid about the move. he talked about the rest. here's a portion of that interview. >> it has been a year of the unexpected and the unbelievable. his star linebacker started the year in handcuffs after super bowl party and ended as the lead's best defensive player.

on the brink of a super bowl appearance. >> the episode was a nightmare for everyone. especially rate. he did not deserve it. it was political. it was down to motivate people politically and it was not fair and unjust. he is a man's man. he came back in condition and ready to play. with everything he had to show people that is what he is here 4. >> that loyalty is mirrored by the new loyalty that developed between baltimore and the ravens. it started almost as a blind date. he chose to move his team from cleveland to a more lucrative deal in baltimore. the relationship required patience. the new ravens struggled to put on a quality show. but then came 2000, the playoffs and the epidemic of ravens fever. >> the city has embraced this and it is up to us to deliver.
