this year. the boy came forward just last week and said he was sexually assaulted by 23-year-old anthony cottle. he was staying with the boy's family. the teenager said he witnessed a friend being assaulted by cottle. cottle is a volunteer firefighter. since he was charged, he has been suspended without pay. police say there could be of the victims out there. >> based on what we're hearing from the victim and other people that are being interviewed by our detectives, we believe that there may be more victims. >> they are asking any other potential victims to come forward. meanwhile, cottle remains on the baltimore county detention

center. kim dacey, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. a student is recovering after being stabbed and a high school. it happened 11:00 on monday morning. a person of interest is being questioned. the victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition. a corporate consequences will be handed down. >> we're following a developing story. police are looking into the abduction of a woman. there may be a connection to another case. the victim was waiting for a bus near edmondson avenue. detectives say two black males drove up in a vehicle and pulled the person aside. she was dropped off in an undisclosed area. investigators are trying to

determine if this attack is related to abduction in the same area last tuesday. in that case a woman was abducted by a single suspect. the man stole her money and a camera. police are investigating a possible adoption of a female mayor in druid hill park. the victim was forced into a vehicle. police are not sure if this incident is related to the other incidents in baltimore county. >> americans are getting a glimpse on what is on the other side of the fiscal cliff. in the report predicts will happen if lawmakers don't do anything about a number of tax cuts that are set to expire by the end of the year. this report helps answer was

the fiscal cliff means for all of us. >> what does it mean? this report says taxes for nearly all of us would go on average $3,500. a bunch of tax breaks are set to expire if congress doesn't do something. lawmakers have pushed off these tough decisions until after the election. it is not all bad news. congress will probably hammer out some kind of a deal between november 6 and the end of the year. the question is what exactly that deal will be. >> what happens if we do go over the fiscal cliff? >> if we trigger the automatic tax cuts, then we would likely hit a recession, according to a

behind bars, accused of assaulting a boy. >> last week one of the victims came to police and said he was abused by this man sometime between may and june of this year. >> police say cottle had been staying at the boy's home. it happened in the wilkens precinct. >> the boy said he witnessed one of his friends being sexually abused by this suspect. >> cottle had been a probationary firefighter since december of last year. he has been suspended without pay. he is also a volunteer firefighter with the landsdowne fire department. we reached out for comment multiple times but our calls will not return.
