called to the school around 10:00 this morning, owings mills high school, for a call about someone with a gun. when it they are rife, they found that a student brought an air soft bb gun inside the school and was showing off to other students. they believe no threats were made in this case. the student was taken into custody and students at the school who don't feel comfortable staying can leave if their parents are willing to come pick them up. that is the latest we know right now. we are talking to school officials as well as the police to find out details. the school was placed on temporary lockdown while the situation was dealt with. again, all clear at the school. students are free to leave if their parents are willing to pick them up. in owings mills, i am lowell melser, wbal-tv 11 news. >> president barack obama hopes for a second chance to make a

researcher. detectives released a surveillance picture on monday of two men at springtown chesterfield avenue, taken just after sen p.m. on september 17. police say it was the only sign of life on the street the night that dr. peter marvit was murdered. he was on his way home from choir practice when he was shot and killed. the two men in the photograph are being considered persons of interest. >> the two individuals are identified as light-skinned black males, possibly in their late teens. whether you know their names or just any information about them, if they look familiar to you, please contact homicide detectives. >> police think that dr. marvit was mistaken for a food delivery driver because he was holding bags when he stepped out of his car. >> it is certainly a little cooler than yesterday but not too bad for this time of year. 60 at the airport. northwest winds at 16. that is making it feel a little bit cooler out there.

when you walk in to the situation with us, you will see us on our hands and feet and pulling people out of the situation. at the same time, you watch these fire men and women deal with the emotions of what they find. when they find a child who has been very, very hurt or is dead , the human being passed to deal with that. i may be a firefighter, but i have to do something with that. i cannot show immediately that it has affected me, because once i get that child back outside and give it to a paramedic, i'm going to go back in and save somebody else. when that is all done, i will come back to the fire station and handle it in many different ways. sometimes i make myself feel better. sometimes you rely on something like my character to help pull
