of a 10-year-old colorado growth continues, more than 2000 friends, neighbors and family members gathered to remember jessica ridgway. she was of that debt on her way to school in a denver suburb and then killed. authorities say they are working tirelessly and committed until they achieve justice for jessica. lance armstrong is stepping down as the chairman of the armstrong foundation. he founded the charity in 1997 after surviving the disease. the anti-doping agency says that they have overwhelming evidence of his participation. he said his decision was to " spare the foundation any negative effects as the resulting -- as the result of my second career." nike said it was ending its contract with him.

hopefully, you are getting a chance to get outside today, may be enjoying your garden before our next chance for some rain. in the radar picture, nothing is really happening over the mid- atlantic. in the west, there are light showers in ohio and into western pennsylvania. but the real moisture is back across the plains with rain falling right now in kansas city. that is the next storm that we will be watching for. we can see that in place with the satellite picture. the actual cold front is just west of kansas city right now and we will -- it will continue to track east. with the southerly flow starting to move in place, that is helping to increase those thin clouds. although we started the day fairly sunny, we are starting to see it become a little more overcast. well out to our east, do want to mention the tropics. rafael abouticane rothschil

as a pastor, my support for question 6 is rooted in my belief that the government should treat everyone equally. i would not want someone denying my rights based upon their religious views, therefore i should not deny others based upon mine. it's about fairness. this law does not force any church to perform a same sex marriage if it's against their beliefs. and that's what this is about. protecting religious freedom and protecting all marylanders equally under the law. join me in voting for question 6.
