>> howard county police want to know who he is and how he got inside. sheldon dutes has the latest on the investigation from county police headquarters in ellicott city. >> is bad enough he got into the victim's home without them knowing it, but police have no idea how we got inside, repeatedly, after several months. you can clearly make of the suspects face as he is setting up a hidden camera in the victim's bed room while they were not home. the female roommates are in their 20's and live on montgomery run road. installed a hidden camera in both of their bedrooms. >> he re-entered department multiple times, repositioning the camera, and each time, capturing his own image on video. >> i have a daughter with me. is kind of creepy. >> it is kind of scary,

actually. i had no idea that was going on. >> one of the victims discover the camera hidden her closet and immediately called police. what is more concerning is that no one knows how this man ended up in their home. police said they never found any sign of forced entry. brett favre investigators have done quite a bit of research into recent contractors, maintenance workers in that area. so far, -- so far investigators have done quite a bit of research. >> if someone were to have broken in without their knowing, that is obviously scary and makes you question security in the community. >> police are asking for your help to solve the case. they want you to take a good look at the man in this video and notify them if you recognize him. anyone with the permission is urged to call the howard county police department. sheldon dutes, wbal-tv 11 news.

>> tonight and off-duty prince george's county police officer has died from injuries he suffered in a 3 carper class -- a number three car crash. 11 must take into the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. police said the officer was a six-year veteran of the force. he leaves behind a 10-year-old son at a 4-year-old daughter. this is the second time in two months that a county officer has been killed in a traffic crash. >> to members of the baltimore city police force face criminal charges for allegedly attacking a suspect in police custody. the sergeant and officer face several charges, including second-degree assault. they are accused of attacking a man in east baltimore home after he attempted to run from authorities. they suspected him of being involved in drug activity. both men have been suspended

with pay since the 2011 incident. jury deliberations could begin tomorrow in the trial of two prince george's county police officers charged with beating a university of maryland student. the defense rested its case today. they contend their clients, officers reginald baker and james harrison, were trying to control a rowdy crowd in college park in march of 2010. they face second-degree assault and misconduct charges in the videotaped beating of john mckenna. >> a man is recovering at shock trauma after authorities in frederick county say was accidentally shot by his 12-. we are told the boy was shooting his father's rival when a bullet ricocheted off a truck and hit the 48-year-old man in the chest. that incident is still under investigation but they do not expect any charges to be filed. a man accused of murdering his grandparents is back in baltimore county following extradition from oklahoma. police a 31-year-old matthew

long used a pair of dumbbells and a knife to kill his grandparents in their home last month. the police discover the couple, both in their 80's, after a never went to check on them. days later, long was found unconscious in a motel room in oklahoma. he now faces two counts of first-degree murder. >> three people have been robbed in the canton area at gunpoint since monday. kai reed has details. >> i have a taser and pepper spray in my back right now. when new wall, night, we carry it in our hand. >> and live in canton, not far from where two suspects followed a man tuesday night while he was walking near the 2100 block of fleet street. police said they for the men down to the ground and forced him to stay facedown at gunpoint. >> there are two black officials approaching victims. they are typically armed with a

weapon. they rob them of property. >> monday, two men robbed a man's wallet in the 300 block of wall street, around the same time that a woman was robbed a she unloaded groceries on o'donnell street. police said the suspect or suspects put a gun to the woman's head and took off with her purse. all of the robberies were between ayotte and to the glauconite. investigators believe at least two of them are connected. >> we have a pretty good lead on who these people are. >> there have been 11 armed robberies in the past two weeks. police are urging residents and patrons to what in groups and be aware of their surroundings. >> the most important thing is never engaged an armed suspect. give them what they want. property is always replaceable. the best thing is to cooperate

and be a good witness. look for details like colors of jackets or close they are wearing. >> kai reed, wbal-tv 11 news. >> the search is on for man who shot and killed a patron outside a bar in parkville. the murder happened on july 8. police say gamble suffered multiple gunshot wounds and later died. anderson is described as 185 pounds with a muscular build and multiple tattoos. if you have any information on his whereabouts, please call baltimore county police. you may recall a deadly stabbing at the theron location last month after residents voiced concerns that a board hearing citing the violent incident. the owner of the bar was forced to pay $2,000 in fines to keep his liquor license. >> now to our commitment 2012

s after a long and heated court battle, thousands of files from the boy scouts of america were made public today. the documents outlined decades of abuse by some scout leaders. the so-called perversion files were released with the approval of the oregon supreme court after a case against the boy scouts, where a scoutmaster sexually abused a scout. at a news conference, a portland attorney blasted the organization. >> you do not get to keep secrets about hidden dangers to children, end of conversation. that is what they did. it was wrong, and that is why the jury was infuriated.

>> boy scout leaders acknowledge there's a problem but they say the times have changed dramatically. the organization has announced plans for youth protection symposium next month in atlanta. jerry sandusky has filed an appeal against his sex abuse conviction. he was sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in prison on october 9. >> the n.b.a. -- the mta is putting passengers on notice. what you say all riding on buses could be recorded. today officials announced audience systems have also been installed on 10 buses. officials plan to expand the system to half its lead by next summer, citing safety concerns. >> our goal is to use every tool that is legal to us within our means to try to resolve crimes that occur in our system.

moment to spotlight prevention efforts in young, african- american women. there was a night of arts, food, and awareness in baltimore. the group called the event bank, which stands for providing information necessary to know. african-american women have a higher death rate from breast cancer than white women. it is important to have events like this to make were women aware of the disease. >> now, your insta-weather forecast with chief meteorologist tom tasselmyer. >> severe thunderstorm warnings have been cancelled for our area but there are still some storms just west of baltimore. on up in the southern pennsylvania, the whole line of storms as slowly shifting toward baltimore, but the worst of the weather has been well to the west of the city and now pushing into central maryland. there are still some strong storms out there, even though the warnings have been dropped.

they have been moving rapidly to the northeast, upwards of 50 miles an hour, just racing along. there's a lot of heavy wind up in the upper atmosphere, so the potential for the storms to hold together in the next couple of hours as the move for baltimore. there is cool air at west in parts of allegany and garrett counties. we are still in the mid to upper 60's in baltimore. the cold front is coming in, triggering the showers and storms. it is 67 degrees downtown right now. the average high tell -- the average high temperature for this year -- this time of year is 66. it will take awhile for the cool air in the mountains to reach the bay and then move off the coast. that will gradually happen tomorrow afternoon. the shares and storms will continue to pop up as we head toward 1:00 a.m., and there may be some what weather for the morning rush hour as the front

is slowly making its way toward the coast. more afternoons when the skies should start to clear up. 60 in downtown baltimore with the wind continues out of the south. strong thunderstorms drenched down to the virginia-north carolina border. the actual area of low pressure will pass by on saturday. until then we will be mentioning the possibility of a shower. most of the rain will be over by midday tomorrow. saturday a shower could pop up in the evening, but generally a dry and cool saturday. the forecast for friday, 73-78, southwell and then some showers in the morning, giving way to some afternoon sunshine. southerly winds at 10-15 knots an average waves of 1-2 feet. western maryland clears out briefly before the show returns a michael aron saturday.

as a pastor, my support for question 6 is rooted in my belief that the government should treat everyone equally. i would not want someone denying my rights based upon their religious views, therefore i should not deny others based upon mine. it's about fairness. this law does not force any church to perform a same sex marriage if it's against their beliefs. and that's what this is about. protecting religious freedom and protecting all marylanders
