get a 7% tax break and the opportunity to lower it by another 3%. the trade-off is a temporary decline in gambling revenues going into the education trust fund. the bottom line, if question seven passes, baltimore gain from jobs and a portion of table game revenue, but again, there is a trade-off. an analysis finds gaming interests, rather than public interest, are calling the shots. >> some clergy members came out today in opposition to expanded gambling. barry simms picks up the story and continues our commitment 2012 coverage. >> expanding gambling is one of the issues on the minds of religious leaders but they are also trying to have an impact on some other ballot initiatives. it is very clear that they don't all agree.

as a pastor, my support for question 6 is rooted in my belief that the government should treat everyone equally. i would not want someone denying my rights based upon their religious views, therefore i should not deny others based upon mine. it's about fairness. this law does not force any church to perform a same sex marriage if it's against their beliefs. and that's what this is about. protecting religious freedom and protecting all marylanders equally under the law. join me in voting for question 6.
