here. there are two parts. there's a cold front. but sandy is the one that will deliver all of the moisture. let us take a look at that and the projected track for that storm. is near the bahamas right now. this is an outline. all of these law lines. the various models of were the expect the storm to go. the range for landfall ranges from north carolina to new england. likely closer to us. the conflicting element, or the element that confuses the situation more is the cold front coming in. that intensifies the situation. i have details coming up in a minute. what us see if the traffic is quiet. >> it is not looking too bad so far. the couple problem spots. one is a crash coming in southbound 295 in the area of the beltway. watch for that.

stable so far. we have some drizzle and fog. but actual rainfall, not really nearby. let us take a look at the radar. there is some rain and the south and east florida. no rain is showing up here. we have to use this wider deal. rain associated with a cold front coming in from the west. the cold front and sandy come and by the end of the weekend. let us look at temperatures in the area. readings because of the cloud deck overhead are mostly in the 60's. let us switch over to our main computer. 60 in the easton. 58 and parkton. 50's out in far western maryland. here is that front, to the west of us. and sandy to the south. we are still much involved in either of these two storms, but we are getting the east wind off of the ocean, that is bringing

in moister responsible for the clouds. low-level clouds producing in mist and cloudy conditions. to the tune of storms, sandy making progress to the north. and the cold front moving from the west. hurricane forecasters are giving sandy and category one storm with 80 mile an hour winners. but the forecast calls for a category one storm until it comes onshore near the delmarva, near the mouth of the delaware bay. they expect that to happen after midnight on monday. that puts the center of the storm, and by that time it will be kind of like a nor'easter. right near us. generally cloudy today. quiet weather come to enjoy it while we have it. a few sun breaks but the clouds will be the dominant feature. some drizzle and fog.

wind 5 to 10 miles per hour. our insta-weather if futurecast shows things fairly quiet until we get into saturday, by late day saturday moisture coming from the south from sandy. here is the cold front out to the west. as a going to sunday, we get involved in the rain, the outer rain bands initially. notice a little bit of snow coming in to the picture in the mountains to the west, that is the cold air being drawn and behind the storm. by the time we hit monday morning and about 1:00 a.m., some heavy rain from the storm. and is expected to turn in toward the coast around that point by early tuesday morning. a our forecast is dry today, a lot of clouds, 69 the high, rain chances by the end of the day saturday. by sunday, rain chances in greece. by monday, good rains going with some wind. things taper off by tuesday.

winds. bringing in moisture from the ocean. that brings us the low-level clouds. some missed and drizzle at times. what will happen? the cold front comes east. the hurricane comes north. that puts a lot of energy in the storm. sandy is now category one storm with 80 mile an hour winds. over the bahamas. by early tuesday, according to the hurricane forecast, the storm should, around the mouth of the delaware bay and moving inland into pennsylvania and losing strength. this is going to be a massive storm. there are computer models that pushed this a little farther north. this may not be the final track of the storm. if you see the town of danger runs from roughly rhode island around providence's down to near norfolk and cape hatteras. there could be a lot of

variants. but it is such a large storm, regardless of where it comes in, we will be caught by something. there could be some sun breaks today, but a lot of clouds, morning fog and drizzle. if there is a son break, things could cloud up again. 71 is the high. most of the readings will be in the 60's today. futurecast, we get into saturday and pick up more cloudiness by the end of the day saturday. a few showers. send rain chances get a little higher. the friend coming in from the west. sandy coming in from the south. on sunday and early monday, and then it makes its turn in towards the coast. early monday morning, the forecast model shows we start picking up a lot of grain. and the wind will pick up as well. seven-day -- 68 tomorrow. rain chances tomorrow.
