between this storm and sandy, it is colder out here. it films -- feels closer to 30 degrees. the ocean looks the same, with seas from 6-10 feet. for the most part, a light rain out here. costs from 15-20 miles an hour. sustained winds. gusts at 30 miles an hour. for the most part, mother nature threatened ocean city once again and they said, get out of here. painfully, ocean city dog just another bullet. the threat of a passing nor'easter that seems to be skirting the coast rather than crashing into it. it certainly is not a super storm sandy. the waves smashing on the inland remind you love it. up to 9 feet. >> right now they are nasty. >> does that concern you?

>> well, actually, we will be out of here. as for the locals and the beach, it it will make a mess of this place. >> ocean city was seen moderate rainfall and minor flooding in low-lying areas. like here, on sinkless ave. we found one volunteer firefighter who told us this is what people were expecting. >> they just told us is going to be basically flooding and stuff like that. nothing really big like sandy. >> we clocked sustained winds before -- with gusts in the 30's. nothing like a sandy but enough to push tidal surges in. >> the only issue at which you will have is the water in the low-lying areas. >> officials say they have been monitoring the storm since

monday and still confident that things will be ok. that is a relief, considering what the city had to deal with a week ago. >> looking at the water level downtown, we are going to have some moderate flooding. hopefully we will be a back to normal and 24 hours. >> as far as conditions into tomorrow, it should be much like this, light rain and snow tapering off some time tomorrow during the day. the only concern now is high tide, which is at 2:30 tomorrow morning. there could be some additional flooding. for the most part, they are breathing a sigh of relief in ocean city. that is the latest and now we are going to go back to that studio. we dodged another bullet but not such good news for the people in new york and new jersey who are feeling the pain of the storm once again. yoou, it isth of view

taking a track to the north instead of west and that helps things in maryland. we are on the western edge of it and the potential is there to see some rain before it ends up later tonight. you can see where the snow is now. parts of connecticut, new york, down into new jersey. winds over 40 miles an hour. while things are quiet in ocean city, is a strong nor'easter and a strong snowstorm in parts of the atlantic coast to the north of there. that cold air is pulling down into maryland. it is possible some of our brain may next but the storm is going to pull over night. another colder than normal day. still supposed to be about 60. we were only at 44 degrees today. it is going to get colder tonight. temperatures falling on strong

and once we get the sunshine in, that will start a warming trend through tomorrow afternoon and into friday, saturday, and sunday. i pressure builds in. temperatures will respond above normal going into the veterans day weekend. 51-56 degrees tomorrow. a breezy day. strong enough for a small craft advisory. western maryland, even less impact. a clearing trend into friday and a warming trend. we will start to get up to 50 into the weekend. breezy on the eastern shore of the temperatures into the 50's. a lot of sunshine friday into the weekend. in baltimore, temperatures will steadily climbed. 65-70 degree saturday and sunday and on monday the holiday, 66 degrees and showers
