person who stole a car with a 7- year-old inside. jennifer franciotti has the latest. this happened outside of a day care center. >> it happened as a father was taking one of his children into the day care. he left his 7-year-old son inside the car. police say the suspect took off with the child inside the car. there were able to find the child safe. the suspect did drop off the boy at a bus stop a few blocks from the day care. the child was not hurt. they are looking for the vehicle involved, a silver ford explorer. the day care owner says she is believed the child was found safe.

an offer to plead guilty. attorneys for bradley manning said they would be willing to plea for a possible lesser charge. seven members of seal team 6 have been punished for their role in a new combat video-game. there recede forfeiture for half of their pay for participating in a video game -- they forfeited half of their pay for participating in a video game. >> walmart is opening its chains on 8:00 p.m. on thanksgiving day.

>> hi. a lot of folks will be watching this speech closely. for the second morning in a row, the markets were open after a slump as investors worry if lawmakers don't do something to avoid tax hikes and spending cuts. this afternoon, president obama will walk into the east room of the white house today to call on congress to work together. to figure how to handle the fiscal cliff. >> these folks and the president have to worry -- if they come out too sharp, they could create a deeper recession. >> that is the warning from the congressional budget office. the new report says a lengthy standoff could end with millions out of workthey believe the standoff could end with millions out of work and the unemployment rate at 9.1%. most lawmakers will not let it get to that. they will try to hammer out a deal when the new congress takes over capitol hill.

she was home when police say a man left his 7-year-old son in the car with the engine running. he walked his other child into the home and take care. the boy was gone in just minutes when a stranger jumped into the car and took off. >> the suspect jumped in and fled the scene. >> the suspect dropped the child off a few blocks from the day care at hamilton avenue. investigators are not releasing any details between the time of the day care and the bus stop except that the child was not hurt. they are looking for a silver ford explorer. 828-m506 is the license plate number. the child care center is located in a house on a narrow, secluded street. the owner did come to the door and expressed relief that the child was found. >> i was very happy to know that the child was safe. it is a little unnerving to
