38 this afternoon. there could be a problem this morning. ava marie is live on tv hill. snowflake said were sticking together -- snowflakes were sticking together. >> i'm starting to hear pings of ice. i can hear it bouncing off of my jacket. we got a burst of heavy, wet snow. this stuff on the pavement accumulated this morning. there will be some slippery conditions because of the snow. then we will have the ice. it will be a messy transition.

a house fire in dundalk claimed the life of a girl. the fire broke out on saturday night. seven other family members manage to escape. it is not known if the home had working smoke detectors. >> two people went to the hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning. a woman and a girl were taken to the hospital for precautionary treatment. testimony resumes in the trial of john leopold. motions to dismiss all this conduct trials were presented on friday. a judge decided to dismiss one count. he still faces three other charges.

temperatures will probably not get above freezing until this afternoon. we have a warm front south of us. the arctic air mass is north of the line. that is what is causing the problem. winter weather advisories in effect for just about everybody this morning. light snow, sleet, and freezing rain. minor ice accumulations are possible. that ice is just now starting to build up. 31 in columbia. the colder areas is where i expect most of the problem. 32 in chestertown. everybody has a chance to build up some ice. we're starting to make the transition from snow to sleet.
