tricky, tricky. the temperature is not quite freezing. we're along york road. it is just rain. reports of some icing conditions. salting operations just began. satl trucks -- salt trucks out in howard county. temperature this morning was about 34 degrees. down to about 35 on the j.f.x. heading into baltimore city. this situation will be changing this morning. it is a tricky situation. be aware for some flash freezing.

down south the rain is a heavier. it is pushing to the north. indications of some sleet mixing in in carroll county. nothing going on west of hagerstown. let's look at the temperatures around the area. in the 40's in southern maryland. mid 40's around baltimore. near the freezing point up towards pennsylvania. there could be slippery road conditions. a storm developing along the coast. you can see that spinning motion. second part of the storm at the great lakes. they emerged off cape cod or long island.
