remained in adult court. he brought in a gun to perry hall high and opened fire on the first day of school. the offered 15-year-old robert gladden, jr., a plea deal but he denied it. he made his own closing statement. he said taking a shot gun to school was the dumbest and stupidest decision he had ever made in his life. he claimed it is trying to kill himself and that he was sorry. he wanted the case moved to the juvenile system. he said, "i want help. you're the only person who can give me that chance." he said if he was sent to prison it would be like a death sentence where he would get raped and killed. the shooting and seriously wounded a special needs students. daniel was shot in the back. the assistant state attorney argued his actions were egregious calling what happened

a nightmare for all who were subjected to what he did. the defense attorney argued his client knew the school resource officer was on campus and he was trying to commit suicide by cops and came up with a plan to take others with him. they listened to the entire interview. he ruled that there is no evidence he had been bullied. the judge was very concerned about the lack of remorse. he cited monday statements in which he said he did not care if the victim lived or died. the judge also agreed with expert opinion that he suffers from a major depressive disorder but he also thinks he could get the appropriate care for his mental health in the adult system. the trial begins february 19th. kai reed, wbal-tv 11 news. >> one person bound dead after a house fire in the pimlico area

whenever precipitation left is changing to snow and we do have a little showing up in cecil and hartford county. you may get a little coating on the ground. it is still warm enough for some rain. the bigger part of the storm is missing as to the northeast. this will fill back in our next few hours as this deepens off the jersey coast. there is still a slight chance you could get some snow out of this heading into the overnight. the bull's-eye is up around boston. two or 3 feet of snow. thunder snow was reported right now with gusts up for the 45 m.p.h.. that's just an incredible. over 1 foot in new york city and then we will be on the southern fringe. let's focus on maryland.
