police will work on identifying the body found in the cabin. >> recovering bodies is difficult and it is difficult to identify the remains. it could take weeks to do and analysis depending on the condition of the body. will continue until the body is identified as dorner's. >> someone was stabbed this morning on south broadway in fells point. that the victim was transported to johns hopkins. a pedestrian was struck by a car last night in west baltimore. our big story, a trainee remains

in the hospital this morning, shot in the head. >> city police are trying to figure out how it could have happened. jennifer franciotti has more. >> city police are taking the time. the trainee is said to be in his 40's. he is listed in grave condition. he was hit in the front of the head in a training exercise by a training instructor. the victim is part of the campus police department. the shooting happened on tuesday afternoon in owings mills. it is being used for various police training activities. right now there is no word as to why live ammunition was being used. >> i understand it. you guys want answers to those

questions. one thing i want to make clear is i probably have more questions than you have. it will take time to get answers to those questions. for me, it is an example. we will make this better so this doesn't happen again. >> all training exercises at that facility have been halted until a safety evaluation can be done. maryland state police say he the lead in this investigation. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> breaking news reported on tuesday involving a murder- suicide in college park. police say dayvon green set several fires and shot his housemates, stephen rane before turning the gun on himself.

police found a number of weapons that were legally purchased in baltimore county. >> they also discovered a bag of weapons to include a baseball bat, a machete, and ammunition. >> the gunman was a graduation student at the university of maryland. he had been suffering from mental illness. a teacher's aide faces child sex abuse charges following allegations she had sex with a student. amanda miller was arrested on monday. she is out on $50,000 bond and faces up to 37 years in prison. >> there was a house fire yesterday afternoon on dogwood

trainee in the hospital. >> jennifer franciotti is live with more on this incident. what is the latest on the trainee's condition? >> he is still listed in grave condition. police have questions about how this could have happened. it was on 3:00 p.m. when a helicopter arrived carrying the injured trainee. he is part of the university of maryland baltimore campus police department. he was shot in the front of the head by a trainee instructor. that training is now fighting for his life. >> he is stable. any thoughts or predictions about long-term outcome at this point are way too early. >> the shooting happened at 2:30 in owings mills.

looking good through howard 97.ty o 9n very light at the tydings memorial bridge. pulaski highway checks out fine. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> so far so good. we have some cloud cover. 26 in parkton. we should be into the low 40's this afternoon. that will help us a lot as the storm approaches. the clouds will thicken up. this part of the storm will catch up to us. it is not very impressive at all. it will likely start out as rain or a mix of snow and rain.
