>> for the more than 3000 cruisers on the carnival triumph, it has been the kind of vacation that builds memories. not good ones. >> we are all together and in tears. everyone is overwhelmed. >> passengers have reported lack of food, hot water, and toilets. and they are forced to go to bathroom in bags. >> it is horrible, not knowing what is going on. i have been sick about it. >> carnival has long been a popular choice for cruise lovers. more than 240,000 passengers out of the port of baltimore last year. >> we do not expect to see a drop off because of the unfortunate circumstances. last year, with what happened, there was a lot of concern with in the industry that this may have negative implications on cruising. it did not have an effect. >> there was an increase in cruise bookings this year. >> there may be a small percentage of vacationers who may be turned off from booking cruises, but we do not anticipate this impacting the cruise industry at all.

in baltimore, city police have released the identity of an officer involved that put a trainee in bad condition. the officer used his police- issued a gun with live ammunition during the exercise. according to sources, he was supposed to be using a training weapon but mistakenly took the wrong done. the university maryland of critical condition with athere is an in-depth investigation. >> capital punishment got new momentum in annapolis today. at a hearing, the lawmakers were urged to pass a measure repealing the death penalty, with -- which he called, racially biased and ineffective as a deterrent. the governor is supported in a penalty. humane. i think the experience has been

settled tomorrow night going into saturday morning. the rain is popping up on that front. it will be warm at first. as it transitions to just snow and pulls away, we could get a light accumulation. saturday, we could get more snow showers. expect big business -- differences march afternoon and what we have saturday and sunday. definitely up in the mountains, a few inches of snow. look for guys to get into the low 50's tomorrow. then the front comes in in the evening. the rain showers develop and the rain turns into the ocean -- rain turns into snow. going to the mountains, prepare for cold.
