the long litigation process is underway for hundreds of patients of former johns hopkins dr. levy. he is accused of photograph in women during medical exams. we ask an expert why the hospital might be liable. >> a number of patients have filed suit or started the process. we are hearing about allegations that dr. levy sometimes performed exams without another person in the room. it could open the hospital up to greater liability. >> we know that people are concerned, they have questions. we will provide some of those answers. >> lawyers held a free community information meeting saturday for patients of dr. nikita levy, the gynecologist who was fired after allegations that he take patience during exams. levy committed suicide.

the event was closed to cameras, but lawyers are giving out information on patients' rights. >> we are introducing the public to members of the team we have assembled with the investigation. >> as investigators sift through mountains of evidence determining which of the thousand or so patients have their privacy violated, the wheels of litigation are in motion. >> the first lawsuits were filed friday. >> it was unnerving that i possibly could have been affected. it is sickening. >> even being exposed. that possibility could mean patients are entitled to damages, not just those photographs. that is according to an attorney who says his firm is still waiting to decide if it will file a lawsuit. >> many people argue that just being exposed to the possibility of this and not knowing for six months or year or longer whether they are a victim, will cause

them harm as well. >> hopkins could be held responsible for employing levy. if the hospital did not follow its own policy, that could open up another avenue to liability. >> we -- what we have heard from many clients, and physical exams, breast and pelvic exams were done without the presence of another person in the room. that occurred, it gave the doctor the opportunity to film as we understand that he noted. that could expose hopkins a liability. >> a spokesman for hopkins says the hospital has no comment on the lawsuits or allegations that dr. levy may have violated hospital policy. he says they never comment on ongoing litigation. >> of baltimore county politician is facing charges tonight for driving under the influence. police say todd huff was pulled over at 3:00 a.m. when officers

inside a burning car friday morning or homicide victims. just before 5:00 a.m., they heard an explosion along clifton avenue. they found a burning car with two bodies inside. police department that debts suspicious and each victim suffered at least one gunshot wound. the medical examiner is working to determine the identities of the victims and says one is a man in the other is a woman. -- and the other a woman. >> a couple of days ago, that big story that nebraska -- the strom produced a foot of snow in kansas. the storm has broken into three parts. one part winger's over the great lakes. the other part is producing more snow for new england. there is some rain to the south of us guess what? a new one is developing in the mountains. it will be coming into the

first? >> it was the final turn and the checkered flag lap of the copd 300 in daytona. the number 32 car, driven by a 20-year-old, airborne, careening into the catch offense designed to protect the crowd heard . debris including tires and the engine flew into the grandstand. medical personnel rushed to the stands attending to the spectators. >> we transported 14 people of the property and treated 14 people. >> two remained in critical condition. his car was left in pieces. all of the drivers involved in the crash, including larwson, walked away. >> we have seen a lot of big ones but i have never seen anything like that. there are times when i wish i did not have or we premier.

plus forecast with john collins. >> a quick check of the radar and satellite. what is left of that storm system, the part that affected us, is producing snow in new england, north of boston. boston is getting some rain. the clouds will start thinning a little bit. there has been some clearing up to the west. it looks like we have a better shot of sunshine tomorrow, which would be nice after a couple of days of gloom and dreary conditions. we were only in the 30's yesterday, so we warmed up nicely today. the typical high this time of year is 47. that number rises every few days. today, 12/100th of an inch of rain. that is a little bit below the average. and we are half an inch short with only 5 inches but the year is young. 44 degrees at easton. 46 ocean city.

edgewood is 42 with parton and westminster and the 30's. around freezing around oakland and frostburg. the satellite image shows -- the heavier clouds over us with breaks developing west, but the clouds are thinningn out. here is one front that is introducing the drier air. here is the coastal storm that is not affecting our weather. it is producing the snow and rain in new england. this is not a powerful nor'easter, but it is adding moisture up there. now, the main storm that produced those snows and the midwest is spinning around the great lakes. it will drift up toward canada. and you storm is trying to get organized out here and the west and it will repeat what this one did. so we can expect to rerun the entire procedure over the next couple days. we will have a break locally. overnight tonight, we will see a

lot of clouds, maybe some thin spots war's debris. patchy fog, north and northwest winds and a low of 29-34 degrees. during the day tomorrow, back into the 40's may be approaching 50. we will see scattered clouds and a lot of sunshine. a little bit on the breezy side, northwest winds at 10-20 miles an hour. small craft advisories will be up. a 3 foot shop on the bay. and the water temperatures are in the mid to upper 30's. we expect these calls to be with us tonight for a while but by tomorrow morning they start to break up. sunshine, a few scattered clouds to the north. that will extend into monday. by monday night and tuesday, that next storm system develops, and we get a piece of it. it will be a snow maker in the midwest and as it comes in here, there will be a little bit of mixed but it looks like the mix
