investigators a warning the public about a couple of burglars who knocked on people's doors and try to rob the place. we are mad and upset, sick. >> they had planted out well. they had to know that we were old here. >> the latest case involves a couple in aberdeen on wednesday afternoon. knockedle says the men on their door asking to look at their property. housen snuck inside the and robbed the couple. authorities are asking for the public's help. this is the third case in the last six weeks. >> we do have detectives assigned to the case. from thenformation public.

maybe they saw something suspicious. >> those incidents happen in joppa, belair, and now in aberdeen. the suspects were seen driving a large pickup truck. the men had dark hair and dark complexions. anyone with information should call the sheriff's office. forstigators are looking two separate armed robbers. a woman was robbed at an atm in edge would --edgewood. anyone with information should call the harford county sheriff's office. >> testimony continues in the karla porter murder for hire trial. she told the jury she suffered a lifetime of physical and mental abuse at the hands of her husband, ray.

she told the jury her husband controlled every aspect of her life and hit and kicked her. defense attorneys asked why she never did anything about it. she believed her husband would kill her. a judge sentenced robert jarrett to 30 years in prison. he was convicted of killing his wife in 1991 and tearing her body in the backyard. her body was found in april of last year, or than 20 years after he first reported her missing. >> president obama may have canceled his sitdown meeting with russia's president of the administration is showing they illing to workr together. tracie potts has more on the

18 miles per hour just prior to that crash. a crash reported southbound on 97, and overturned vehicle just past generals highway. southbound on the j.f.x., a live picture ruxton road, pretty good shape in towards the city. looking good on 70 at 29. no problems reported in towards the beltway. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> crews are still battling a major wildfire in southern california this morning. 14,000e is now covering acres. so far nine people have been hurt including some firefighters. the fire is only 20% contained. president obama was signed bipartisan student loan bill into law.

it will cut interest loans keeping them lower for students. the rates will be tied financial markets. they will likely rise in the future. the president will hold a press conference later this afternoon at the white house. one of the three winners has come forward. paul white is the winner from minnesota. he came forward to claim his $ winnings. 16 workers at a garage in new jersey won one of the two other winning tickets. one winner from calvert county matched the first five numbers, which was good for $1 million.

the funeral is today at 11:00. gerry sandusky will be leading our coverage. jennifer franciotti, wbal-tv 11 news. >> thank you. police arrest a woman they say attacked a man with a golf club. she now facesirst-degree assault. it happened on wednesday morning in columbia. the man was walking his dog when she attacked him with the golf club. officials say they know each other and the man suffered minor injuries. >> police answer questions at a meeting following last week's random attack of a jogger. the public safety meeting was held last bite in response to the attack. a man attacked a female jogger. she bit the suspect and was able to get away. the attacker is as young as 16

we'll hear from him. >> all right but we're going to start with the wicked weather. we have it covered for you this morning from the raging wildfire in california to the rains producing dangerous flash floods. that's where we'll begin with kerry sanders. he's in hard hit nashville this morning. kerry, good morning to you. >> reporter: good morning, savannah. today will be a day of clean up. folks having to shovel out mud inside their homes or bigger jobs like here. a construction crew is going to have to come in. this building was hit by a flash flood. it was lifted off it's foundation and moved 30 feet and when the waters receded it deposited it right here in a parking lot. >> reporter: they're singing a very wet tune in parts of the music city. >> your heart is beating out of your chest because you're so scared. >> reporter: flash flooding forced residents to their roof tops and rescuers into the neighborhoods. >> coming completely into the house and covered up everything. about 4 feet inside the house. >> reporter: up to 8 inches of
