[applause] you know it's a big deal when my youngest son, joaquin, who never asks for anything who says can i please go to school late? i will get all my assignments done early? please let me meet the champ? he loves him so much. michael: he's incredible. i went to the fight when i have to work sunday and i'm like i don't care. they're going to have to suffer on that fox show. i'm going to be there for that fight on saturday night.

it's the first time i stood directly behind another man and you could see him behind the picture. biggest guy you've ever seen. kelly: i stood in the picture too, and by the way, i looked like a small flea. [laughter] michael: but i can't wait for floyd to come out. it's going to be good. [applause] he's going to teach us some boxing skills. kelly: in case he needs backup. michael: in case you need to defend me one day on the streets. how was your night? kelly: it was curriculum night for high school. so i went back to school again, again. and, you know, it's one of those things where now in high school, the kids have learned so much more than i've ever learned in my entire life that i have no idea what the teacher is saying but i nod and i take notes as if i understand everything. [laughter]

she was talking about, you know, this 16th century poets versus 2th century poets. i'm like i don't know any poets. [laughter] michael: i thought jk rowings was a poet. kelly: jay-z is a poet. michael: decode it. yeah. kelly: yes. but i got my face on, you know. i was like um-hmm, up up. -- um-hmm. [laughter] michael: i do that almost every meeting i have. derivatives? of course. i went to school with derivatives. kelly: science teacher is like this is earth science, not to be confused with chemistry. i was like of course not. how can we confuse those two. michael: so curriculum night is all the parents listen to the eachers? kelly: it is literally exhausting for all the teachers.
