>> right now, 11 people are looking for a new place to live. they had to be evacuated from their townhome tuesday night when the building partially collapsed. investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the collapse and the extent of the damage. luckily no one was injured. an investigation is under way in prince george's county after an officer shot and killed a suspect overnight. around 2:00 a.m., police responded to the 3800 block of twin lakes drive or reports of a woman screaming. when they arrived, officers say they saw a man running away from the scene. a county officer described as a seven-year veteran of the force shot and killed the suspect. were told the woman involved suffered no life-threatening injuries. maryland's new laws will go into effect on schedule. in her ruling, the judge denied the attempt to block the laws and denied a separate request or

>> covering the nation, a suspect is being held without bond in an action with a pair of suspicious packages. police say the 39-year-old made a false report to a security guard that he was carrying an explosive device and a detonator in his back pack. >> the subject stated, "i came to the security guard and said i got a bomb in here." the subject further explained that inside his camouflage backpack, he had a device, which he said was supposed to be a bomb, but it is not. >> the threat forced airport officials to shut down their core operations and evacuate the terminal's tuesday evening. the airport has since been reopened and a second person who was arrested has been released. a connecticut firefighter is charged with 29 counts of risk of injury to a minor after police found dozens of unsecured firearms in the child toss bedroom. police say they found 29 guns

>> that may have been your liveliest interview yet. going to be hard to top that one. seeing a lot of sunshine right now around baltimore, a scattered clouds in the western part of the state. that sun really helping temperatures warm up. high pressure and control. this is sinking air in the atmosphere, causes the clouds to disappear and gets us this very nice weather. you can see the moisture coming out of the gulf, producing showers across arkansas into kentucky as well, and the fact that this is moving up to the north goes to show that this cold front is going to have a hard time pushing down to the south because it is competing with this area of high pressure. for that reason, we expect that whether to continue out. we are seeing highs pushing into the 80's right now. we are at 80 degrees at the airport. 83 already at the inner harbor. we are seeing upper 70's in places like westminster and even parkton. now, this is not the summer, so

we do not have quite the humidity that we normally see, but i did want to show the dew point. the general rule of thumb -- it starts to feel sticky out there once we surpassed 65. we are really not seeing that at this point, but it is a little more humid, and you may notice that if you have outdoor plants, and even going into tomorrow, you may feel a little bit of that humidity. for the rest of the afternoon, we will be mostly sunny. we will be a little bit breezy through the rest of the day. otherwise, we will have mostly clear skies. those temperatures to quickly drop off with the sun setting earlier now. we will still have a few clouds passing through tonight. with all down to 60 in downtown, mostly into the 60's added to the suburbs. overall, very mild for this time of year. while until we see those cooler temperatures.

you can see all the warm temperatures across the east, but what a stark difference as we going to the northwest. boise, idaho, 30 nine degrees. they are forecasting snow in parts of montana. the big range -- we will be tracking the cold front into next week. by monday into tuesday that the front actually gets here, which is when i expect our highest chances of rain. there may be a slight chance of showers friday, saturday, sunday. overall, you can see how the warm weather continues behind that front. >> up next, your maryland lottery
