1997. we will not see temperatures like that for some -- quite some time. 68 in columbia. the normal high of 72. here we are, past 11:00 in the evening, temperatures are still in the upper 60's and 75 degrees and downtown baltimore. a little cooler in frostburg. the skies are clear and the winds are calm. we will see a continuation of the cooling trend overnight. the baltimore area, many of the farther outlying suburbs will probably reach the mid to upper 50's for most. just barely getting below 70 in downtown baltimore overnight tonight. high pressure to the south will keep temperatures mild. into the upcoming weekend. the front should cross through the area. that brings us a decent rain chance sunday night and monday of next week. eventually, some of the cooler air behind the front will start to get back our way. not until next week. summer continues for a while. it is cold behind the front. winter storm warnings are out. idaho expect -- expecting snow.
