straw is for sleeping. many other things that children can learn including the different types of pumpkins and squashes. 10we have the children name things you can make with a pumpkin. we do have a special way we carve a pumpkin. we cut the bottom out instead of the top. it makes it easier to clean out of the inside. it makes it a nice because you can level it off and cut it out here and get the seeds out. you can set it on top of your candle or plate and keep it even. then you end up with something like this. you can put it on your head. a great thing for your halloween costume. >> i do not know about that. >> you can dance.

tweet about major crime. now they are considering that decision. jennifer franciotti has our big story. good morning. >> good morning. the policele follow twitter feed. on monday, the department made a reverse in an earlier decision to be open and transparent about what is been going on. they decided to scale back on some of the information. they said they didn't need to put out instant messages on criminal-on-criminal shootings. the intent is to weed out incidents that do not have a wider impact. a city councilmember says tell that to a child who gets caught in the crossfire. there was a lot of online support through twitter. police have reversed their earlier decision. they will not make a change the way they put information on twitter.

have that conversation before our economy is put further at risk. >> reporter: next up, that october 17th deadline with concern growing that congress won't raise the debt ceiling by then. what is the debt ceiling? it's the equivalent of the government's credit card limit, when the country runs out of money to pay its bills and can't borrow another dime. the u.s.'s debt limit is $16 trillion. trillion with a t. then what? if congress doesn't green light the government borrowing more the u.s. could default unable to pay its it's. they're all scheduled to get their payments november 1st. big picture, what's at stake? forecasters predict an economic calamity with the treasury department saying it could be
