is becoming regular every day behavior. >> live in high definition, from wbff tv in baltimore, this is fox 45 news "late edition". >> hello, i am jennifer gilbert. >> and i am jeff barnd. dozens of city cars, includingplis cruisers out of service. investigators believe tainted fuel is the cause. >> city mechanics are working hard to put the cars back on the road. keith daniels is live downtown with the story tonight on. keith? >> jennifer, live at the city's only 24 hour pumping station for city vehicles. and city officials believe that gas dale came from here. so far, nearly 70 cruisers have been disabled. tow trucks delivered them to the city's main garage on bit tell street. and to other city garages for repairs. the cars won't start. sputter and sometimes die. the cruisers are among other city vehicles that fueled up at the mid town pumping station over the weekend. officials say trouble started not long after a vendor

delivered a shipment of unleded gas, believed to be mixed with diesel fuel. city crews are working overtime to put the cars back on the street. and costing the city thousands of dollars. >> all of this money we are tracking every penny we do. and going after the vendor for the money. so the vendor that delivered that truck, will definitely be paying the bill for this amount of work. >> now, that is if the vendor is, in fact, responsible. the city is waiting for lab tests, to confirm what substance contaminated the gasoline. live in downtown baltimore. keith daniels, fox 45 news "late edition". >>. >> it has been three days since a massive 72-inch watermain ruptured, flooding several neighborhoods in dundalk. the water destroyed highways and caused water damage to dozens of homes. tonight repairs are in the works. but officials say some modes roads could be closed for up to a month, while the repairs are made. >> and many dundalk residents

woke up still without power. many of the remaining homes, are on mcshane way, where families have been powerless going on four days now. bge said they cannot restore the power there until electricians give them the okay. homeowners are beyond frustrated. >> crazy. pretty much unliveable with no electric, no gas, cannot get anything turned on until we have electrician down there to isolate all the electric in the basement. >> as of right now, some 33 homes remain without electricity. >> for many residents the headaches are just starting. kathleen cairns has more on the fight over who is at fault. and who should pay for all the cleaning up. >> only time will tell who will pick up the tab for flooded homes and ruined cars. >> water was up past the windows. my car was completely down. all you seen was the top. >> insurance companies have set up temporary shops. >> while there is such a thing as flood insurance for a car. it falls under comprehensive.

a redeployment of officers to be troubled areas. 18 people shot. at least 10 different incidents since friday. and 3 of the victims have died. 31-year-old guess was shot and killed sunday night on maple court in southwest baltimore. on friday night, 50-year-old stanley mooring shot to death near his home on ashburton street off edmondson avenue. those that knew him, cannot explain why. >> it is just a terrible life wasted. it really is. terrible life wasted. somebody life taken away. you know, so many people today losing lives, being innocent bystanders. losing lives over killings. terrible. >> only one person is charged with the weekend shooting. >> a pennsylvania man is arrested charged with leaving three disabled adults locked in his car. it occurred sunday outside of a diner in frederick. police say 47-year-old brian

fleming left three blind and deaf adults in the car for about one hour. while he was eating inside. fleming is charged with three counts tonight of neglect. >> more cutbacks for city workers. this week the mayor is expected to unveil details of the furlough plan. she wants all city employees to take, at least, five unpaid days off. but the police and fire unions are fighting it. meanwhile city council is looking for ways to reduce overtime pay. tonight's city council meeting, councilwoman belinda conway introduced a bill to create a office of overtime reporting. she said there needs to be more accountability. >> lots of trouble for a local bank this evening. 1st mariner has agreed to seize and desist order on. the bank had taken part in quote unsafe and unsound practices. regulators say first mariner has to stop operating within equal (inaudible). >> bank said it expects to meet

>> three men charged with lying to federal investigators during an ongoing terror investigation appear in court today. investigators believe the men may have information about a possible plot to attack america. david lee miller has the latest from new york. >> three men appearing in court to face charges of lying to federal investigators. no charges connected to terrorism, but that could change. >> i think that the charges are going to get stronger, and as they develop, greater intelligence, as far as what attack was averted. we're going to learn more. >> according to published reports, najibullah zazi admitted getting weapons training from al-qaida.
