nationwide hits home for thousands of baltimore city workers. >> karen parks tells us how the personal information ended up in the hands of thieves. karen? >> jennifer and jeff, the fbi informed the city of baltimore about a breach that affects 3000 employees. someone threatened to expose millions of express script records on the internet if an extortion payment was for the made. it is a prescription drug provider used by thousands of city and state employees. and 8000 state workers were affected. the can company did not give into the threat. the fbi informed scripts that same person he sent a letter to a unknown law firm containing personal information of 800,000 names from across the country. including more than 10,000 from maryland. >> what we see are problems with companies that assume that their traditional security methods are enough. when in reality, as their websites become more complex and applications become more in-depth and serve users in a

number of convenient ways, expose themselves to a number of new threats. >> express scripts will offer free identity restoration services to all affected employees. >> karen parks, fox 45 news "late edition". >> baltimore county man is locked up tonight accused of abusing a neighbor's little girl. he is also charged with possession of child pornography. police arrested 55-year-old william davis yesterday after a three day investigation. investigators say a cable contractor was installing the internet at davis' home on which i will cot square in essex when he stumbled on porn on davis' computer. >> he visually saw it. identifiable by this contractor. he then shut it down. never said a word to mr. davis. and left the home. >> well he later called police and investigators say davis also admitted to molesting a former neighbor's child for eight years. beginning in 1998. the girl was five years old when

the alleged abuse began. davis is in jail tonight on on $250,000 bond. >> a be anne arundel county fire lieutenant is charged tonight with attacking his wife. police say 37-year-old joshua could not be stable arrested thursday after his wife accused him of holding a knife to her neck and threatening to bury her in their crofton backyard. he is already on administrative duty. charged with stealing funds from a firefighters fund raiser. >> shocking news tonight. the death of former ravens linebacker tony fein. he died early tuesday morning. in his home in the state of washington. according to police, fein collapsed -- actually that was at a friend's home. and was pronounced dead an hour later at a local hospital. his agent is suggesting it was an accidental overdose. fein's attorney here in baltimore said it was suicide. fein was released from the ravens in september. former teammates and coaches reacted to the news late this afternoon. >> just shocked.

and saddened. tony fein was a really good teammate. he is a tremendous american. tremendous young man. he was a raven to us, always will be. and a good person. >> fein was scheduled to go on trial today on misdemeanor assault charges. accused of pushing a police officer. but the city state's attorney office tells us they notified fein's attorney last week that the case was going to be dismissed. fein was released from the ravens in september. >> mayo shad duck is turning 55 and as a gift he is getting a golden parachute worth, at least, $33 million. state lawmakers are upset over this. and they want maryland's attorney general to investigate immediately. but constellation said the golden parachute is perfectly legal endorsed by the company's own board of directors. >> there is not 1 cent that bge customer dollars going to this pension. >> of course it is from the rate payors.

only place they get money is from rate payors. that's the customers. 100 percent of the money that comes in to them is from the rate payors. not the tooth fairy. >> constellation said the state has no jurisdiction over the golden parachute because constellation is a private company. >> school in laurel gets a thorough cleaning today. st. vincent palate closed because almost 20 percent of the students are out sick. officials say many of the students have swine flu. only five cases are confirmed. h1n1. closing the school does go against cdc guidelines. but a lot of parents are relieved. the school is scheduled to reopen tomorrow. >> a dozen health care professionals received the city's first doses of the h1n1 vaccine today. shipments of the vaccine began arriving yesterday. at a clinic next thursday, the city will offer free vaccinations to the highest risk group. those that are two to 24 years old. >> you can find johns hopkins

theirs compromised in a huge fishing scam. more than 10,000 hot mail addresses and passwords were posted on a website. and now reports that thousands more may have been posted online. but it is not just hot mail, yahoo, aol, earth link, comcast and google gmail accounts compromised. >> one of the things that is scary satellite incredible scope of the particular fishing scam. it is just everyone. >> fishing is a growing internet problem where criminals trick internet users into handing over online account log in details. ranging from e-mail, social networking sites and financial accounts. the scam can lead to identity theft. >> so it happened basically overnight. bang this happened. and then because people have passwords that they use on the same sites over and over again, all of a sudden a lot of the security becomes compromised quickly. >> experts say the number one thing people should did right away, change passwords. but there are other ways users

it will be a chilly night out there 52 degrees at bwi thurgood marshall airport. partly cloudy skies. and the winds are now out of the west at 9 miles an hour. and humidity at 63 percent. we had a cold front that pushed through the region today. that allowed for the strong gusty winds out there. but temperatures behind the front will be on the cool side. right now, 56 degrees in baltimore. 56 in harrisburg. 60 in new york and a chilly in the upper 40s already in pittsburg. 47 in pittsburg. and 48 degrees in cleveland. so on the surface map. there is the cold front that pushed through the region today. brought the blustery winds. that is about going out to the atlantic. and high pressure system builds in nicely for the daytime for tomorrow. very sunny and dry day. but temperatures are going to struggle to reach the 70-degree mark for tomorrow. and even in the evening hours, for tomorrow, right around 7:00, beautiful sunset. and clear skies again. thursday night to friday. but you can see another system, another stronger cold front, that is starting to organize

edition". >> very sad story has come to an end. tony fein that tried to make the ravens this summer as a free agent linebacker is dead. and all signs point to a suicide. that's the word from warren brown, baltimore attorney that represented fein in his inner harbour police assault case this summer. fein was said to be depressed over the incident. discovered unconscious in a friend's living room and rushed to the hospital. he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. fein was taking anti-anxiety drugs and reportedly drinking heavily but the coroner in port orchard washington where the death occurred said toxicology results will not official for six to eight weeksment and the news hit the ravens hard. >> humble young man. to me, and always, you know, was searching for some type of direction and things like that. so, you know, kind of really sad. my heart goes out to his family, and friends and things. because such a tragic death for
