it's election day. i will say it now as we take a look over the nner harbor. hopefully later on today a lot of people will get up and get out and vote. good morning, i'm patrice harris. what type of weather will they be voting in? meteorologist steve fertig is here with cold weather, but it's like yesterday, so i guess we will get used to it. >> it's going to be a cold one and dress more warmly today, and go to the polls. we take a look at the hd radar, you will find couple of clouds out there. not seeingga whole lot at all. the result is cool temperatures, 35 degrees in baltimore, 30 in hagerstown, 30 in wilmingtoo, delaware. it's chilly this morning, more so this morning and that's why the freeze warning is expanded. you can see all areas, baltimore county, and caaroll county included and most of the areas which are in a ffost advisory.

to be missing in union bridge for three week. there were no signs of them heartbreaking find in the woods. he found both dogs shot to death. their collars removed and ddmped in the woods more than a mile away from their home. the ownersssaid that the dogs must have snuck out under the they can'tthelp but to wonder why. >> somebody had to drive back here and dump them back here. >> i don't know how anyone could shoot a little puppy. >> cold blood at best. >> police are now trying to tracc down clues, but so far none of the hunters they have questioned seem to know who is responsible. the dogs owners say they just want justice. a neighborhood dispute could be to claim for a hol wo hallown night shooting that left a ú%enageedead. when police arrived on the scene

19-year-old rob bernard and 20 party onnwallace drive at glen -rm. as the fire was dying down, someone reportedly threw nitrous uke ideox idea and that caused . when bernard tried to help, he alsoogot burn. >> this is a tragic incident. we hate to see these kinds of things. >> at last check hamill was in critical condition, bernard wws in good condition. sentencing is postponed for a talbot counny woman convicted in the death of a an infinite she was taking care of. earlier this year, gale dobssn %-9-month-old who died afterthe dobson called 911 and said he waa having trouble breathing. an autopsy determined head trauma to be the caase of death.

dobson said she never hurt the boy and her new lawyers who were at her trial want to review testimony from the case. sentencing is now scheduled for january 6th. an anne arundel county ú%meowner is sentenced for setting is own house on fire. he entered an arson plee acknowledging that prosecutors haa enough evidence to convict him. he was behind in his mortgage, had ssbstantial credit card debt, and his business was struggling. they gave him time served which3 ú%ounted to four months. officials are calling three suspicious packages found in september a possible dry run for last week's mail bomb plot. officials believe the packages were sent to the logistics of the air cargo system. they say both mail bombs were wired to detonators that use cell phone technology. some pilots say this is proof that cargo planes needed as mucú

kratovil is againss andy harris. andy harris expected to vote here. the polls open at 7:00. it seems this race could be very close. every one of those votes could be a desire. let's take a look at where the strong holds are at this big congressional district that spans the eastern shore that is where the incumbent frank kratovil issvery strong and parts of southern portion of harford and southern counties there you see. this rrce is being influenced by folks from very far away. thanks to advertising dollars, the national party organization is spending $7 million on this race alone. kratovil is being portrayed as the democrat who consistentty votes with nancy pelosi and the rest of the party. but crank kratovil says he is >> when you look at my background. there's only 9 people in the entire country that has crossed party lines on real issues more3 than me. i think that is what people
