good morning. it's tuesday, nooember 23rd. you are taking a live look at the area in northeast baltimore3 that was hit hard by a tornado a week ago. -e are still tryiig to get that area repaired and cleaned up as you can see. the roofs still off of buildings. today we're going to hear the 911 calls that came in during that ter nying experiencemen te. we will check in with joel d smith who is out there. today no more tornados.

and meteorologist sttve fertig with warm weatter. >> one more day of warm weather and we do have shower chances this afternoon and we have showers for thanksgiving. a little bit of fog in spots, not as p as yesterday mostly to the northeastern part of the state, 36 degrees starting in baltimore. 50 degrees in hagerstoww, 53 in salisbury, and 54 in oakland. pretty mild no matter b where yu start the day in maryland. low level clouds producing fog in spots and the shower chances on the way but they will bee3 diminishing in strength.ú the heavy showers you see in the ohio valley won't be as strong as once they get here. they are wrung out. then we will dry out as he with get toward the overnight and a dry day tomorrow. we will be mild for one more day and the shower chances will be back as we head toward

tetso is going to arrive early. >> reporter: dennis tetso is going to make his way to the courtroom where he knows he could face 30 years in prison. they are happy that he is not facing life behind bars. tracy disappeared back in 2005. the family and friends suspected that dennis played a role but without a body to prove, it didn't come easy. this is the first conviction of its kind here in baltimore county, a guiltt verdict for a murder with no body. dennis showed no reaction in court as that verdict was read in court last month. this morning we will see how reacts. it will happen at 9:30 this morning. we will have a crew inside of that courtroom and we will bring you the latest as it happens. we're live this morning in towson. i'm megan gilliland.

fox early edition. an investigation is underway after a woman is sexually assaulted while jogging on howard county. it happened on saturday morning. the victim told police a man grabbed her and threw her down oo the sidewalk before assaulting her. she was reportedly able to ffght back and escape and call police. it's shocking news in what people describe as a quiet neighborhood. >> that is very unnerving that that happened and i will be very careful from now on. >> a bit nervous until they find out what is going on and who this person was. >> the victim was treated at a local hospital and released. police are still searching for the suspect who is described as a white or hiss ta!! hispanic mn 35 and 50 years old. police have stepped up patroos in the area in the meantime. a mother is offering thanks even while the person responsible for a hit-and-run who put her son in the hospital is still on the loose. on friday night lawrence was

without roofs over their heads. >> reporter: imagine the strength this would take to rip this tree right of ground. look at how tall the roots are. %-in particular, still a lot of work to be done up there, if they are able to bring this at all. the first responders, in the confusing moments after this happened. this is what it sounded for the firss responders and the initial reports. >> we have a two hof-story apart building. we have wires down. it looks like a tornado blew through here..3 the roof is missing off of a 205. >> reporter: a lot of reports like that came in from the baltimore city fire garment as they responded to -- department as they responded to calls about the call. at the time they didn't know it was a tornado, but they figured it might be. since then the weather department has called it the

tornado f-1. police had recover a mother and a daughter covered ii cement block after the roof was ripped off. police were able to recover the two. they didn't know what had happened. >> we had stood outside. what just hhppened? we actually this no idea. >> reporter: they focused on their job, there were a lot of heros like thaa in moments after this occurred. it's going to be a long time before they recover from this. people who entered these homes they wereeable to go in and do their job and stay focused. with all of the ddmage you are able to see here, still no serious injuries and no one killed, either..3 >> hat is what is amazing, especially if you continue to see the damage out there. two days before thanksgiving, i know that was a big concern approoching the holidays with no homes, and nothing to put within

5:14 on fox 45 early edition. let's get a check of our forecast, meteorologist steve fertig is standing by. hi, steve. good morning, patrice. other than a little bit of fog this time around are to the north and east of the state, dry conditions for now, we may see some showers as we take a look at the sky adar up close. you will see that there's not a whole lot at this time. the showwrs are heavy through the ohio valley and tennessee valley, too. that should dissipate as the computer models are indicating. anything we get should be on the light side. it could be showery as we get

into the afternoon and maybe even lingering into the evening hours before we start to see clearing skies overnight. partly cloudy skies. southwest winds at 7 miles per hour. there could be a little bit of fog getting a little ffg from a stronger wind this morning. that will prevent the fog from being as pervasive through the area. d.c. at 63 and the same for salisbury. up in hagerstown, 63 and pretty mild for the rest of the state. it will continue to be mild. and as far as rain totals not going to see a whole lot. if we get anything at all probably in the neighborhood of hundreds of an inch of rain for today and into this evening. we're looking at a dry day behhnd that front. in the meantime we will get the southerly flow that will keep us mild for one more day. the front will bring us one more chance for the central part of the state. by two 2:00 seeing it in the cel

counties and a lesser amount as we move toward the east at 5:00 p.m. behind it, cooler air on the way. a high pressure, to see high pressure and sunshine. the next front brings chance of some rain. it looks like it's flowing down as opposed to what we thought earlier. %-friday instead of the wednesd, night, and thursday nighttime frame. we will see temperatures down into the low 50s up ander 40s for high temperatures. we see a couple of 20s for overnight lows. not kidding, 8 degrees for the eastern shore. you're so happy. south winds at 5-10, to 20 miles per hour. look for a temperature at 55 degrees, and a couple of showers, again that will be on tte light side, but rrther mild. we will enjoy the mmld temperatures anyway. back to the west, bu 51 degreesú but the showers entering the picture. could be an evening and light shower around. winds begin to pick up.

and the pressure gradient increases. 51 tomorrow, and mostly sunny skies. 50 degrees with the showers, probably later in the day more so and then into friday with a high of 49 and look at the temperatures, though, cooling down. 46 on saturday, 48 on sunday, and 53 on monday, no overnight lows, near freezinn or a little bit below for the weekend. let's see what is happening on the roadways. traffic edge. candace. >> reporter: steve, it's of course, a busy travel week so we want to check in on the actual speeds. not a bad ride. on the west side, 50 miles hour, and 62 miles per hour at kay catonsville at 395. 95 is a very busy corridor. elkton road and 275 that is smooth sailing, northbound and southbound lanes. farther down on 95, taking a look at route 152, we haven't had any incidents to concern us. that continues to be the case

just as the cars are starttng to trickle in both directions there. southbound lanes look good down through whitemarsh and eventually up toward the beltway. as for the beltway, taking a live look at harford road, it's light activity in both directions and well, the outer loop lanes look good toward the 83. and then as you take it from 83 all the way up through greenspring avenue and eventually reisterstown road on 75 we're in the green there. taking a live look at liberty road, take a live shot there, inner breeze and the 70. that's a look at the morning commute. wal-mart wants your businnss this black friday..3 the sale promotions going on to make sure they get it. the ffort to complete a college assignment ends with a
