patrice, back to you. 5:02 fox 45 early edition. federal agents arrest a local man and charge him with trying to detonate a bomb at a millitary recruitment center at catonsville. authorities arrested 31 years old antonio martinez on wednesday. he is facing charges of attempted murder of federal officers and attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction. accord to investigators martinez who goes by the name of muhammad hussein, told an accomplice he wanted to ak ta and kill millitary personal. an agent helped martinez get a phony bottom in a van. >> it brings it close to home. when you hear it's happening across country and across the world, it's one thing, but when it's right where you work it's kind of scary. >> if he is convicted martinez faces the maximum sentence in prison on the weapon of mass destruction charge and 20 years

for attempted murder. the suspect has strong connections to the baltimore area. antonio martinez address is northwest baltimore, but we are learning that he spent the majority of his time at a woodlawn apartment complex with his mother and his sister. what he didn't know is he was beiig hon forked b monitored byw enforcements. martinez posted things like they will be killed until they stop waging war against islam. he talked about his operational plans telling the fbi source back in october that he was going to attack and kill millitary personnel. he was going to go to their stations and bases so everywhere a soldiers is. the news is sending shock waves through his neighborhood. >> it's a 21 years old kid, it's not believable. >> i'm speechless. >> there's so much stuff going on in a neighborhood anyway, it just isn't right.

day man joe junior and a 16 years old are charged with a demented murder and assault for stabbing clifton earlier this week. police say a 3rd st. paul is sus still at. he is currently in serious but stable condition in baltimore. police say the crime is likely drug related. according to the associated press federal investigators are investigating it as an arson. the bureau of alcohol tobacco firearms investigative team says they're not sure where or how it started but are studying the building for clues. the fire marshal expects teams be to on the scene for days. as of right now the buildings are not sai for investigators to get inside. meanwhile investing ors do knoors doknowinvestigators dokn.

we are seeing a little bit of snow pop up on the radar. it's all to the left. and we do have a chance of wintery weather for the weekend. we are watching the radar and the clearer picture showing us a lot of clear skies. we will stay for a couple of more days but there will be weather moving in from bit weekend. cold air out this morning, at bwi, 20 degrees is the current temperature, and likely that will drop into the teens before we finish off the morning. clear skies are aiding in the cooling temperatures and winds right now have calmed down out of the west at 5 miles per hour at a dew point of 13. we are watching the presses that has been bringing us clear skies the last couple of days and the winds ahead of that are quite gusty. we are going to start to see the winds diminish today, still cold, and behind the high pressure we will start to see a shift in the wind direction. while it will be cold, we will see a slighh warm up by tomorrow. as we head in toward the weekend, more mild air will come

in. we will start to see the southerly winds bring in more mild air ahead of the system. that system will bring us wet weather in the form of rain and possibly a little bit of mixed precipitation by early sunday morning and changing over to rain quickly on sunday as the temperatures do get up into the upper 40s. for today, no upper 40s in our forecast. in fact, it will be another cold day out there. winds will be out of the west, is though still breezy on eastern shore. 35 degrees, plenty of sunshine and as we move further toward the west, we will see temperatures just a little bit cooler. 36 degrees as we do for the the sunny afternoon here in baltimore. winds out of the northwest and a chilly day in western maryland, staying in the 20s. 29 degrees for the afternoon high, partly cloudy skies and the winds will be out of the west at 5-10 miles per hour. for tonight we will drop down to 22 degrees, very cold temperatures once again. we're not dealing with the wind
