3 &pin brooklyn park... the hunt is on for the crooks responsible for a hate crime, arson, stabbing.. and most recently... tire slashings.and all of these incidents... happened within a half mile of each other. other.back on january first... police say two elderly women were the victims of arson and a hate crime.vandals sprayed gay and racial slurs on the side of their home.shattered glass still coots the front porch on church street... and a burned bible lies in the yard.then on friday... half a mile away... people woke up to over 30 vehicles... all with their tires slashed.rick lilly... a father of six... moved back after some time away from the neighborhood... but now he says... he's ready to move again. even though it wasn't the prettiest of games...the ravens pull out all the stops... defeating the houston texans..and leaving on four quarters betweennthem... and the superbowl. superbowl.the largest crowd ever ...cheered on the ravens at m&t bank stadium.first quarter, houston's jacoby jones for some reason decides to field this punt... he's hit by cary illiams, and the ball goes flying...rookie jimmy smith falls on it and the ravens are in business at the 2 yard line.three plays later, they cash it in... joe flacco to rarely used tight end kris wilson for the touchdown...his first catch of the year...the ravens led 7-3.later...the ravens force another turnover...t-j yates lets it fly... and the ravens lardarius webb steps in front of it... one of two interceptions on the day by webb..and the ravens are at the houston 34.from there, flacco drivvs them down to the

four-year-old skills.andrea stubbs' son adrian has thrived in day care...he amazes me. he learns words like 'debonair'. he's putting together sentences, yes my son is. he just amazes me.a single mother, stubbs lives with her grandmother and works in a university cafeteria. she earns oughly $680 a month -- about the cost of day care fees.until a year ago, she was able to pay those fees with vouchers the state of maryland provides to low-income families. she lost that assistance after problems with her paperwork and had to re-apply. from then on it was just likk my son is being juggled. i keep him til about 2:30, the absolute latest i can leave out. i'll see if i can get my aunt to keep him until my mom gets home to come pick him up and take him with her and he stays- it's just, it's a lot. now she's one of nine thousand families on the state's waiting list.we don't

typically have a wait list in maryland. we had to implement one last year, because of limited funding for this program.as federal timulus funds dried up and states continued to face budget shortfalls, child care assistance programs suffered. families in 37 states had less access to aid in 2011 than they did the year before, according to the national women's law center -- and that negative trend continues.we don't help enough families. we don't get families enough help and we don't provide enough support for the childcare programs that serve are poorest children so they can give them the strong start they need to be ready for school. advocates say early childhood education is key to preparing a child for school and believe the government should invest more in the area. we can't be a strong country if we don't invest in early childhood.andrea stubbs has no idea when she'll have access to state aid. she hopes to eventually get a better-paying job so she can send adrian
