good morning patrice,it was saturday night... and michael truluck... was hanging out with friends in the parking lot of autozonee.. drinking alcohol. family members say it only took one four loko to make the 13 year old violently ill.his mothhr's boyfriend picked him friends.but what happened - next... isssomething no one in that car will ever forget.when michael opened his door to car and was hit by oncoming traffic.his father says he died because of one poor decision. the brakes on the speed cameras.supporters of the program most often cite safety. but critics say the after-hours enforcement is more about cash than protecting construction workers.lawmakers are considering another bill this session.. that would lengthen the grace period for warnings rather than tickets. ttree skiers have died in an avalanche near a ski resort in washington state's ascade mountains.greg black has the details. 3 the avalanche swallowed up about a dozen skiers -- sweeping some as far as two-thousand feet down the mountain.they -- they manage to dig themselves out of the snow. at that point, then they look and they find that three of these skiers are suffering from medical issues. they begin cpr and unfortunately, they were not able to resus-- resuscitate the victims.the king county sheriff's office says all the skiers had avalanche beacons. one wore an avalanche rescue system, which works like an

airbag and helped her survive. i've been told they had all the right gear, they're veryy experienced, nature happened. it happened in the back-country -- about three miles west of the stevens pass ski resort.they went o a designated, out-of-bounds area, but it wasn't a closed area, so they were ok to be there.the region had been hit with heavy snow. and authorities say the northwest avalanche center warned f a very igh avalanche danger for sunday.avalanches happen, they took that risk and were aware of it.i know personally with a high avalanche danger, i wouldn't be doing it, but again that's part of the thrill on this ttpe of skiing. i'm greg black reporting. e-s-p-n identified the dead as the head judge for the free-skiing world tour, the marketing director for stevens pass and another skier.in a separate iicident sunday... a snowboarder was found dead in another part of the same mountain range. a memorial service was held sunday.... for civil rights activist patricia stephens due.
