kidnapped cal ripken's mother. we've been following this story since the missing person's report came out early yesterday morning. morning.megan gilliland is here with a description of the suspect to look out for. good morning patrice,at this hour... local police... and the fbi... are hunting down the kidnapper. kidnapper. he's believed to be a white man in his late 30's to early 40's with glasses... he was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and camouflage pants. pants.police belive he bound and abducted violet ripken at gun point in her own car.she was missing for 12 hours before anyone realized she was in trouble.a stranger who spotted ripken and her kidnapper at this royal farms spoke up... after thinking it was suspicious.someone got a license plate number and called police.amid an intesive search... ripken was quietly dropped off by her kidnapper on the secluded street where she lives in abderdeen. trying to identify a human skull found in carroll park in southwest baltimore.a hiker spotted the skull in this wooded area behind hilton avenue tuesday.no other remains were found.the skull is now at the medical examiner's office for forensic testing. city residents were overcharged ánine millions dollarsá for water use ... according to a city audit. audit.the city cites many problems including faulty meters and human error.but the head of baltimore's bureau of water is telling the mayor the problem is being corrected. package in a mailroom at the university of colorado's medical campus in aurora monday, sent by alleged gunman james holmes.c-b-s news reported it was addressed to a psychologist at the university -- where holmes recently dropped out of a neuroscience p-h-d program.we were told that there is verbiage, kind of a pent-up, was the phrase used, writings about shooting people and that there were some very rudimentary images in there of a shooter and victims.and there was plenty of activity at the alleged shooter's apartment building wednesday.defense attorneys and investigators were there -- and tenants were allowed to return.an official says a bomb squad has cleared the holmes apartment of booby traps.i'm ed payne reporting. the first funeral of the 12 victims was held in denver, yesterday. 51-year- old gordon cowden was laid to rest. the family requested privacy for the service. also wednesday, a visitation took place for 23-year old micayla medek in aurora.her funeral is

today. the aurora community is also making a push to get the media to stop naming the shooter... and stop showing his images on t-v. families of the victims fear the media attention feeds into the accused shooters desire to be infamous. today... president obama wraps up a 4-day road trip in new orleans.since last week's violent movie theater massacre in colorado... the president.. stayed out of the gun control debate. but during his address to the civil rights group wednesday... he made some strong comments against gun violence. i, like most americans, believe that the second amendment guarantees an individual the right to bear arms. i think we recognize the traditions of gun ownership have been passed down from generation to generation, that hunting and shooting are part of a cherished national heritage. but i also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that ak-47s belong in the hands of soldiers not in the hands of criminals.

facebook users already "like" certain things. but as alison kosik explains... soon, they may be able to "want" things as well. 3 --reporter pkg-as follows -- the "like" button on facebook could be getting some company. rumors are, a "want" button may be added to the facebook. talk began after a web developer said he found the code for the button and posted a mock up on his blog. facebook removed the code, but that hasn't quieted speculation. the "want" button may work like a wish list. users could find interesting products purchased by friends and click "want". facebook could then track this information, and maybe sell it to advertisers. the company isn't confirming anything. a facebook spokesperson says the company is always testing new platform features, but it doesn't have anything new to announce. if the "want" button
