the senate still needs to take a final vote on that measure. i'm megan gilliland, fox45 morning neww. a harford county minister is ddad...and his family blames a sheriff's deputy now...., they're suing. mary tompkins and hee children filed a 22-million dollar lawsuit against the harrord county sheriff's office... and one of itts deputies... in what they're calling the wrongful death of reverand bob tompkins. according to the suit, a neighbor found tompkins collapsed on the front yard of his home last novembee....the neighbor, while on the phone with 9-1-1... started performing c-p-r.... but the family says when a deputy arrived, he ordered the neighbor to back off and wait for the ambulance. (mr. ellin) "our experts ho have reviewed the medical certificate have advised ttat, had cpr continued, ttat rev. tompkins would be with us here " today.." a spokesperson from the harford county sheriff's office aaen't commenting.

some cherry hill residents are suing a private security firm... for what they call "illegal policing" in south bal. baltimore.on tuesday... attorney william murphy announced the 25-million dollar lawsuit at a news conference with the plainniffs. ttey claim private security guards were working with baltimore police officers... to illegally arrest residents under the guise of enforcing trespass laws.
