"> open enrollment runs until the end of march. 11 people are being forced to evacuate their homes, after a building collapse in south baltimore. it happened a little after seven this evening, along wilkins avenue... near south monroe street. we're told a home that was apparently being renovated collapsed. out of caution while the building is inspected people living on both sides of the collapsed building have been evacuated. wilkins avenue will also remain closed... until bge can cut off gas service to the affected area baltimore county police have arrested an unusual trio of alleged bank robbers. police say 22 year old ashley fitz, 24 year old czekiah fludd, and 19 year old alexis chandler held up the baltimore county savings bank on eastern boulevard last week, claiming they were carrying a bomb.

after making off with the cash, police arrested the trio in a car a short distance away. they're each being held on 350 thousand dollars bail. baltimore county school superintendent doctor dallas dance is trying to ease the concerns of school employees concerned over the new "common core" curriculum. today, he issued a letter to teachers and administrators, saying he understands their anxiety over the new standards being implemented so close to the start of the school year, but urged them to be patient, and not pass that anxiety on to parents and students.

major overcrowding problem.... at a meeting with parents tonight, doctor dallas dance estimated the district will need five- hundred additinal seats in the next five years. and finding them will likely mean re-districting many existing schools. and that is not good news for parents who bought homes in communities like stoneleigh and loch raven village so their children could go to school there. now, they face the real prospect of being re- districted in lesser- performing schools. (15:06:25) "i'm concerned that my neighborhood will be divided. i'm concerned real estate will be negatively impacted. we're a strong vibrant community, we want to be together. we want our son to stay at pleasant plains where he alreadyd knows the teachers, the administration. they all know him and they love him." at the end of this month, a redistricting committee is expected to release proposals for parents review.

it's going to be a bad day soon for one of the characters on t-v's longest running t-v show. producers for "the simpsons" stunned fans today, by announcing one of the show's regular characters will be killed off this season. they didn't say which one, but did say the actor playing the character won an emmy for the role. that still doesn't help narrow things down. we'll find out who in a few weeks. some bit of good news for those impacted by the federal shutdown...if they own a hyundai, they won't have to make their payments until they're back to work. the automaker announced today it would allow affected federal workers to defer their payments until the government reopens. the offers only apply to hyundai's leased through the company's financing division a very good day for a whistleblower who helped the s-e-c break open a federal financial investigation. the unnamed informant is receiving 14 million dollars for the

a road rage altercation caught on camera. the driver of this range rover gets caught up in a pack of motorcycles on new york city's west side highway. take a look at how it started. a biker pulls in front ofthe suv appearing to slow down. the driver accidentally bumps the back tire, breaking the biker's leg. between 20 and 3o bikers descend on the suv, surrounding him. police say they begin denting his car and slashing tires. fearing for his life, police say, the driver barrels through the mob with his wife and 2 year old daughter in the car, hitting three more of the motorcyclists. the bikers are now in hot pursuit. they catch up to him and a cyclist pulls open the door, but the driver of the suv floors it and gets away. the chase begins again, and moves off the highway. this time there's no where to go. stuck behind new york city traffic, an

enraged biker makes his move, using a helmet to bash in the driver's window. "he is taken out of the car, he is assaulted. he received some stitches at columbia presbyterian hospital, he has been treated and released." new york city police are now investigating - looking for the members of the motorcycle group hollywood stuntz. "this is sort of a major stunt event where motorcyclists from various locations come together. their ultimate goal is to get into times square." here they are in this video posted to youtube. nats more than 1000 motorcycles, dirt bikes, and four wheelers taking over times square in 2012. now police are checking security cameras for any information that could lead to arrests. so far, police have two suspects in custody, and say they expect more arrests, as they review the video. hospital officials say one of the bikers run

over as the suv driver, alexian lien, fled the scene is permanently paralyzed. so far, lien has not been charged. a thirteen year old girl is the only member of her family to survive a deadly rockslide that claimed the lives of her mother, father, sister, and two cousins in colorado. rescue workers pulled gracie johnson out from amidst a pile of car-sized boulders that could span the length of a football field this morning. she's being treated for a severely broken leg. the family had been hiking along a trail near agnes vaille falls monday, when the 100 ton boulders began sliding down the mountainside. investigators are not clear what triggered the slide but say there had been some recent snowfall and heavy rain. if you thought chasing a tornado on land was a crazy concept, wait til you see it done on water.

one second-- that's eight seconds longer than itwas last year. chick-fil-a was the slowest, with an average time of three minutes 24 seconds. wendy's had the fastest average, clocking in at two-fourteen. common sense seems to have left a man at a california convenience store, who brutally attacks a clerk during a dispute over 41 cents. take a look...the clerk at this store says the customer asked for a swisher- sweet cigar, but only put down a dollar, for the dollar-forty- one cent item. when the clerk told him he still owed 41 cents, the customer, cursed at her, tried to snatch it off the shelf, and then punched the 23- year-old girl in face, before running off. almost as shocking as that is the fact that no one tried to stop him as he left. 119-130

like in that locker room.. and it came at an unexpected time.. they ravens handled what was considered a very good houston team last week..and then went at it like gangbusters in the week leading up to buffalo...everyo ne was happy and confident.. so what the heck happened? there are reports the ravens made a trade tonight... they have apparently acquired left tackle eugene monroe from jacksonville for draft choices... the 8th overall pick in the 2009 draft, monroe has started 62 of 65 games over the last five years for the jags... and it looks as if bryant mc kinney's time could be running short.. we'll see...

to the college game... the government shutdown could have an affect on this weekend's game in annapolis... navy's midshipmen are scheduled to play host to the air foirce academy at navy marine corps stadium, but the department of defense has ordered all intercollegiate athletic events suspended.. army's game with boston college could also obviously be affected... expect an official decision to be announced on thursday... it's another tuesday night, and around here that means another edition iof our prep player of the week award.. now in it's third decade, it has honored the ara'es finest school thlete since wat back 1991.. ths iweek, we're on e thccer doghs off to otanher great start......... have an 11-0 nd a re raed number one in the area by the baltimore sun.. and calvin livingston is a major reason why... a senior goalkeeper, livingston is in his first year as a starter...and he has been magnificent thus far... he has eight shutouts in 11 games...and has only given up three goals all season. that's not perfect, but it's prty darn close you may have
