5:00 pm
but here. i have a little bit for you. the movie contains me false and defamatory statements and scenes about me. please know that i have never cheated or mislead anyone. i have held my peace for 20 years and it's time the truth comes out. i will be sharing my story in the appropriate venue at the appropriate time. okay. i can appreciate that. i was on the radio at the time tlc came up. i do remember very much -- though i don't remember pebbles, i remember her involvement in getting these girls signed and also pebbles winning not just in her career with these women but a career dominated by men. i'll give that to her. pebbles is groundbreaking. do you remember, she sung one son, do you want to ride in my mercedes. she married but didn't lie
5:01 pm
around. she hustled. the only thing i have ever heard about you regarding your business dealings is that you stole from these girls, so i'm saying why are you now wanting to come ow and have them, i guess, edit and stop the movie. the movie has already played. your legacy is out there. by the way, when the girls were on our show, we called your office to have you come on the day after. we were going to send the jet for you and everything. but we wanted you to come here, come the very next day before the movie play and while the things are fresh on everybody's minds, but now the movie's played and now you have 30 seconds before nobody care as what you have to say. i'm just saying. i mean i'm just saying.
5:02 pm
i hope that this is coming out properly because i do respect women who do well in business, but, you know, taking their money is all we've ever known about you -- allegedly. allegedly taking their money. but so -- and then the movie's going to keep replaying and that will be your legacy. i don't know where the proper venue is, but i invited you once. i mean i -- are you going go talk to barbara walters about it? where are you going to talk? good luck with your quest to get your truth out there. so, you know, the actor owen wilson is having a baby in a surprising way. yeah. well, a swedish personal trainer friend of his named caroline is pregnant with his baby. friend, not girlfriend. caroline revealed that they never have had a committed relationship. they're friends, two close
5:03 pm
friends who wanted to have a child without the complications of, you know, i guess meeting the right person. and, no, she's not thinking about starting a relationship with him. you know, this is a big debate in our "hot topics" meeting right before the show. i was the only one, i think, who said i kind of like this idea as long as she doesn't look in his eyes and doesn't catch feelings. so they're not new friends. if they ever had the sex it was in the past, probably in 2007. they're at a point where the sex is done. maybe she turkey basted. i don't know. but i like this idea. and so then one of my producers sai said, well, wouldn't this be complicated for a child to digest? i said, no, what's to digest if mommy and daddy are fighting like cats and dogs and daddy's sleeping on the couch and
5:04 pm
they're divorced. yeah. i don't know anybody in my personal life who's ever, you know, gone to a sperm bank or, you know, have a friend be a sperm donor or anything, but i would imagine that's the way the world is going as we girls are working so hard and doing so well, we don't really have a lot of time. we don't have a lot of time to sit down a get pregnant and have kids and by the time we want to do it we look around and have scared off all the men because we're so powerful and strong. so i would guess the future is going to be the sperm bank or calling up a friend and saying, hey, come on over, i'm ovulating. i have no problem with that. anyway, good luck with that. i would like to follow this relationsp and see how it all works out. and then somebody else is expecting a baby.
5:05 pm
congratulations to tony parker and his fiancee. is she wearing a see-through dress? oh, no. it's just that the placement of the darts are in the wrong place. anyway, they're expecting a baby boy. we told you when they first got engaged. they've been engaged for two years now. he was married to actress eva longoria for seven years. they never had any children, he and eva. this woman is a french journalist and he speaks french. he's still playing basketball even though his cornea is scratched from the fightith dre. was it $20 million? $20 million. we have to continue following that story. wait. anyway, so they're expecting a baby boy, and i one doerr how that makes eva feel, you know, like her ex-husband of seven
5:06 pm
years goes on and he's so happy and is engaged and it's been two years, although i think when it goes on for two years, the marriage willver happen. i still don't know why jen is still engaged. she's been engaged for like 150 years. jen, when are you and your hot fiance going to get married. really. anyway, eva was spotted making out with two young guys. anyway, that's eduardo and she was spotted out making out with another guy. do you think she did this knowing that tony is so happy and engaged and maybe it's bitter boots. he's having a by and eva's 38, you know, and still out there. i guess she -- i'm just saying. i'm just saying it the way i see it, you know.
5:07 pm
it's not like she's stroking her independence like cameron diaz who kind of likes being single. eva would like to have a lasting relationship. it's tough out here for us girls. anyway, good luck, eva. so lady gaga is on the cover of one of my favorite magazines, "glamour." she's posing like models pose. can you do it? bring your elbows together. we were practicing on the show. do it, do it. inside she was asked does she think she's beautiful. she was actually interviewed by our friend andy cohen for the article and inside she was asked, you know, among other things do, you think you're beautiful. and here's what she said. i'm not conventionally beautiful.
5:08 pm
i'm okay with that. i'm not a supermodel. that's not what i do. what i do is music. i like that. another thing, i don't find her to be a classic beauty but she's far from being unattractive and sometimes being the unconventional beauty is the best kind of beauty, like keeping a space between your teeth or giant nose or pushed back forehead or something like that. come on, guys. i can never be a grown-up here. you have to pull me back to being stupid and kiddy-like. you know what i'm saying. unconventional beauty is and gaga also says she doesn't like when people call her stephanie. i mean -- see, her real name is stephanie ermanato.
5:09 pm
if she was in the street, i'd call her stephanie. it's like latifah. i call her queen. i don't think she'd mind me calling her dana. i still call puffy puffy because i will not call him diddy duty and i will not call him snoop lion. i'm like don't change your name in the middle of us knowing each other because i'm not good with that. although i hav to admit i'm hypocritical. i like being called my real name. i give points to people who do that. if i'm out and i see people under 25 -- i feel like if you're under 25, you approach peop and call them mr. or mrs. -- i if i hear someone say, hi,
5:10 pm
mrs. hunter, i love that. that's gaga and "glamour" magazine and let's move on to stevey j. and hip-hop. first, "lovin' hip-hop atlanta." stevey j. is a villain. he owes over a million dollars. hmm-mm. that's not the picture i want to use. show me stevey j. yes! stevey, there are so many people, girls and girls on this staff who think you are so hot. oh, yeah. he's like a sex symbol here at "wendy."
5:11 pm
anyway, he allegedly owes over a million dollars in child support to his ex-girlfriend carolyn bennett, the mother of two of his five kids. no, you can laugh. laugh like you mean it. i mean it is a bit ridiculous. i don't understand how people get behind in child support up to six figures, let alone seven figures. he still owes back child support from 1999. the '90s were somef his best earning years. what were you doing, son? look. do you understand? do you understand that in most states when you owe back child support, first of all, he faces four years of jail time. that's number one. no, this is very serious. that's number one. number two, you know, when you owe child support, they take your license away in a lot of states. in new york and new jersey, they take your license, which means you can't drive up the street.
5:12 pm
furthermore, they take your passport so now you can't go to europe. and fourth of all, when you owe child support and people know you owe this much child support, as women and mothers -- i don't know if you're like me but maybe not. i'm this girl right here. here i am. at the parking lot, the red light, right, i look over and i see stevie j. behind the wheel -- that is stevie j. driving. 911, get him. yep, yep. it's criminal. it's criminal to owe so much money in back child support from 1999. really? and my thought for men who are bad with their child support more often than not is you're trying to make t baby's mother -- you're trying to punish the baby's mother because you made maybe a bad choice in the baby's
5:13 pm
mother but in actual aality youe taking money out of the child's mouth because you're so concerned we going to buy a gucci bag with whatever money is leftover. but even if we do, so what? the kids are fed. the kids are clean. too much. and this carol -- i don't know too much about this carol bennett. she's apparently a very smart woman. she's around his age. he's like 40. she's like 40. she used to be an executive at bad boy records. this is how in my mind i imagine it was. you know how as a working woman you've got your own thing, you don't want to ask a man for it. you're working. you can do it yourself. you see your best earnings days are behind him so she hasn't bothered taking him to court and maybe she's looking at the front door of 40. you're getting older and you
5:14 pm
start to count your money and say, you know what? i need to go alt him for the money. it's worth the headache. i don't know. but, stevie, somebody's going to arrest you and put you in jail for four years unless you get the money to pay for your kids. and joseline, use your birth control. he doesn't need a sixth kid. he can't take care of the ones he has. miss katharine mcphee. remember we talked about her affair? does he look like kelly ripa's
5:15 pm
gelman? the two were spotted kissing earlier this month in the parking lot even though they're both married, okay. well, she's separated from her husband, but he's married to the actress mary mccormick who played howard stern's wife in private parts. they have three children. now he's reportedly cut all ties with katherine mcphee because when mary found out what was going on with this affair or kissation in the parking lot -- don't you find kissing more intimate? a kiss like that? their heads sure are tilted. yeah. anyway, mary threw him out of the huse allegedly and so now
5:16 pm
he has cut ties with catherine. catherine thought he loved her. see? isn't that how we get as women? >> catherine, go home. michael, go back to your wife and straighten up before your daughters think less of you. that's it for "hot topics"? are you serious? well, gee, we have a great show for you. we have a great chef, he's a kid named alexander weiss and he's made it all the way to the top 4 of gordon ramsay's show. up next from the hit show "ee ya na, let's fix my life," iyanla is here.
