♪ (announcer) meet california girl, and bride to be, misty. my name is misty maxwell. i'm 28-years-old. i am a mental health therapist, and i live in fresno, california. (announcer) and her full-time patient, carlos. my name is carlos muldonado. i'm 33-years-old, and i work for the county of fresno, for the probation department. (announcer) this precious pair first laid eyes on each other, through the rosy tint of beer goggles. we met at "sud's n' the city," which is a beer drinking festival. it's a drunk-fest. it's a drunk-fest. that's where we met. we got a little wasted. i-i didn't-- i'm a good boy. i don't know about that. (laughing)

(announcer) their heads may have been a bit fuzzy, when they first met, but, one thing was clear: something between them was starting to brew. the first thing i noticed about carlos, was that he was very well groomed. he was very handsome. he was very ironed and very pressed, and he looked very pristine. just... very groomed. how's your face feel? dirty. i'm very meticulous on the way i look. i don't like being dirty. if i have a stained shirt or i'm going out somewhere, i'll go home and change my shirt, before we go anywhere. (announcer) misty was smitten by carlos' clean cut look, and that first night of light flirting, blossomed into a hot and heavy romance. we've been together for-- two years. two years, yeah. i realized that i was in love with carlos, when i, just, was avoiding sleep just to stay up and talk to him. so, it-it was craziness, and i thought, "why am i doing this?" like, "why?" (announcer) after two years of marathon phone calls and sleepless nights, carlos and misty are ready to settle down.

i'm getting married in las vegas, nevada, on march 29th, at "victoria's wedding compound." hos it go? "whatever happens in vegas, stays in vegas." don't forget your wife will be in vegas with you. damn it! (announcer) but as the big day nears, misty is butting heads with one, particularly, particular member of the wedding party. i wanna see it. you need to go outside. make sure their dress fits, so we can get this thing going. this is (deleted)! the most stressful part of planning this wedding, is trying to get carlos to agree on the littlest details of the wedding. he wants to pick colors. he wants to be involved in the dresses. he wants to be involved in the favors. carlos is definitely a groomzilla. oh, i'm so mad at you! that's (deleted)! let's go! this is crap! it's not misty's special day-- it's my special day. i plan on getting married, once, so, i wanna do this right. i will go out of my way to make sure this works out right for both of us. what else can go wrong? (announcer) so, will carlos get his way

and make the wedding day all about him, without leaving his bride in the dust? no touching, poking, prodding, sucking (deleted). how do i look? like a lobster. if you call that fun, knock yourself out. (announcer) or, will he become a primping and preening... tastes like butterscotch. (announcer) whining and screaming... oh, god! (announcer) thoroughly vain... did you get it on my scalp? (announcer) a big royal pain... they look crooked. (announcer) over the top, groomzilla! aw, (deleted)! you need to act like a lady and act, accordingly. this is stupid. i'm done! (announcer) today, carlos and misty are hosting a big, family barbeque, to introduce their families, before the wedding, but, carlos is too busy getting his beauty sleep, to help misty set up for this important occasion. we're just getting ready. we're gonna have a little barbeque, today, to celebrate me and carlos. we're gonna bring together the two families, since they haven't really hung out together.

carlos is late, as usual. he is at home, probably, getting ready-- changing his outfit a million times. it pisses me off, so much, that carlos is late. (announcer) our groomzilla finally rolls up, and though he's already very late, he's not in any particular rush. hey, babe. it's about time! where've you been? i've been trying to get here. what do you mean, "you've been trying to get here?" you've had all morning! i had drama. the reason why i was late... is because my alarm didn't go off-- believe it or not. what do you mean, "you had drama?" the alarm didn't go off, and when i was in the shower, cutting my hair, clippers bro-- so, what else is new? that always happens. he does not care about being on time, being punctual to places, um, he's just really disorganized. he's on his own schedule. on his own time, most of the time. what do you need me to do? i need you to help me with these tables. i need them to be ready by the time everybody starts coming. (announcer) the party gets started, and just when misty can finally relax, carlos decides to unveil his groomzilla rules,

for their vegas bachelor/ bachelorette bash. (clinking beer bottles) how's it go? "whatever happens in vegas, stays in vegas." don't forget your wife will be in vegas with you. damn it! the first rule, is is that there is no rules for me. oh, heck no! (laughing) i don't want no (deleted) swaying in your face. swaying in my face? yeah. okay. (carlos) i don't want those girls gettin' all dumb and dirty and pushing you out there and you over there shaking your ass with all kinds of weird men. especially, when you won't even dance with me. anything else? no touching, poking, prodding, sucking (deleted)... of any nether region. (misty) of any nether region? yeah... and we'll be good. (announcer) carlos may fancy himself a rule maker, but, he's also a rule breaker, when it comes to wedding rituals. let's see the wedding dress. you can't see it. let's see it. you can't go! i don't know where you're going. sure, i can. no, you need to stay out here. i wanna see the dress. you're not gonna see the dress! i haven't even seen it! i'm marrying you-- i wanna see it. you're not supposed to see it. you need to go outside. go outside. it's not funny. get out. you better stay out, too. hey, get out! (misty) carlos, you better stay out! get out! get out, now! you're really making me upset! uh! (announcer) though carlos didn't manage to get close enough to the dress to inspect it, later on, misty exacts a little revenge, by messing with her hubby-to-be's perfectly pristine appearance. ok, listen up-- everyone listen up! we're gonna have an egg toss. (laughing) i'm gonna get you! (laughing hysterically) where are you going?

(misty) what do you mean, "you're going home?" (announcer) carlos doesn't take kindly to a little egg on his face, and groomzilla storms off. (carlos) damn it! i'm (deleted) pissed! i got an egg broken all over my head. did you get it on my scalp-- on my head? (misty) no. i got egg all over my (deleted) glasses. aw, they're gonna break, now. this is not that bad. you're crying over a little bit of yolk. yes, i am. your shirt's yellow, anyway-- you can't see it. i don't care. you're fine-- you're not gonna die. you did it, intentionally. if you don't wanna get dirty, then don't play the game. okay, i'm not playing. fine, then don't play. i'll go home. go! okay-- bye. (announcer) carlos is so upset, that he storms out of his own party, in front of all their family and friends. i'm so mad at you. why would you do that? stupid. (misty) it's just for fun. you don't have to get all flustered about it. i don't care-- that's stupid. (misty) he just-- he's so into how he looks. he just wants to look perfect, all the time.

and so, when he gets dirty, he just goes nuts. (announcer) coming up... a single act of rebellion... what the hell does this say, corey? (announcer) turns megan... right now, stop it! (announcer) ...into a hellion. i own your ass, corey! (announcer) next, on "bridezillas!"

♪ (announcer) meet midwestern, bride to be, megan. my name is megan stevens. i'm 23-years-old. i live in northwood, ohio, and i am a dance teacher. (announcer) this toledo two-some met at work, where megan wound up being corey's boss. i met corey at work at the hospital.

people told me that there was this younger girl named, megan. (laughing) "she's mean," is basically, what they said. so, i was not looking forward to meeting her, at all. (announcer) and it didn't take long for megan to abuse her position, in order to land a date. i actually got to train him, and as i was training him at work, i made him ask me out. she forced me to go out with her, and that was it. (announcer) and in just three days, this wicked witch of the midwest is set to snatch up her prince charming and lock him up, forever. we are getting married at "nazareth hall," in grand rapids, ohio, on... leap day! leap day. (announcer) and when it comes to the wedding, megan has one simple, all-encompassing edict. there's nothing fun about my wedding. it's not a party, guys. it's not prom. it's not high school. i don't like that kind of stuff. megan does not know how to handle stress. she doesn't handle stress. the stress consumes her and she becomes a monster. that's a little harsh... a monster? it's the truth. a monster? a monster, corey?

(announcer) and after tearing apart one bridesmaid's bad hair... you're not gonna look like a clown in my wedding. (announcer) megan utterly slaughtered another bridesmaid's self-esteem, by presenting her with a new, larger sized dress. it looks like you've been gaining weight. so, i thought it would be better, if i bought a bigger dress for you. (crying) (announcer) so, can megan pull off her more somber, solemn and serious wedding, without transforming into a monstrous beast? it's too lat now. if you don't want to be part of it, don't show up, tomorrow. you need to get your husband out of my face, now! you idiots can't follow directions!

(corey) i don't know where it's at. figure it out. why would i know where it is? go find it, now! (corey) megan, it's probably in the car-- go get it. (announcer) megan's dad barely seems to bat an eye at being treated like a toddler, and when he accidentally breaks a glass, gan's ready to put him in a permanent time out. put it in your car, 'cause mom-mom paid for it! (glass breaking) that isn't even (deleted) funny, dad, because you have toay for that, now. against the glassware, megan runs and tattles on her daddy. (megan's dad) it was an accident. shut up, dad! they think it's flipping hilarious, mom. dad! to do (deleted) like this, just to make me mad. it's ridiculous! my dad's a freakin' clown, and he needs attention. so, apparently, he thought dropping the cup would get him attention-- i don't know. and i want him to stay as far, far, far away from me, for the rest of today and rest of tomorrow, as possibly can, or i'm kicking him out of the wedding. i don't need to be walked down the aisle by him. i can walk myself down the aisle. i'm a perfectly capable, independent person. i can walk myself down the aisle. i don't need him. you're in trouble, corey. (corey) why am i in trouble? for letting him do that. (announcer) with only two days left 'til the wedding, misty is ready for her make-up test, and hopes carlos doesn't butt in. we are waiting, right now, for my cousin, samantha, to come over. she's gonna be doing my make-up and my hair for my wedding. hopefully, she gets here, she does it good, and we're good to go to vegas. where do you wanna do your make-up?

let's do it, right here, at this table. carlos is driving me crazy. he's been so involved in every detail of the wedding. like, he even wants to know what make-up i'm wearing. i'm so sure. what guy cares what make-up a girl's wearing? isn't it the bride's job to worry about that? yeah, you would think. hey. what do you think, so far? is that the make-up you're gonna wear for the wedding? yeah. she's doing a-a run through. she better keep running, 'cause, uh, it doesn't look that good. (carlos) what the hell is that? like, i want soft colors. i want it to be natural. i don't want it to look like i have make-up on. isn't that the whole idea of having make-up on, is to have makeup on, so, people can see? no, i want it to look likee. well, if you want-wanted that, you shouldn't wear make-up. okay, you can go back and go work on the favors. you're bugging. okay, good luck. me and carlos have fought over many of the details

of our wedding. because he is a groomzilla, we have fought over colors and dresses and little details that should not have been an issue in our wedding. he wants silver. and your colors are brown? and my colors are brown, yes. i wanted a different color for our tuxedos and for the bridesid dresses, but, misty said she couldn't find silver dresses, which i think is a lie. i think she just, kind of, did what she wanted to do. aah. (laughing) (announcer) misty may have gotten her way with the bridesmaid dresses, but, she may not be so fortunate, when it comes to her own wedding-day look. it's a little much, but... what's much? the eyeliner. you don't like the eyeliner on there? it looks good. it looks... kinda look like a raccoon. a raccoon? i'm not used to seeing you with a lotta eyeliner. i was very mad, when he said she has raccoon eyes.

i worked really hard on her make-up, and she doesn't have raccoon eyes. (announcer) misty says "good-bye" to her cousin and goes to check herself out in the mirror, but, all she can see is what carlos put in her head. wow, i do think that's a lot of eyeliner! he was right. (announcer) coming up... megan unleashes the beast... sneaky little bastards need to pay attention me, right now! (announcer) ...for all to see. it's not fun. (announcer) next, on "bridezillas!"

(announcer) at the rehearsal dinner, megan senses that corey might actually be enjoying his time, amongst those who actually love him. so, she quickly tries to put him in his place... right under her thumb. corey! it's not in your hands-- where's the notebook? yes, it was-- did you look? what did you do with it? did one of your stupid friends take it? go have them freakin' look for it. they're just sitting there. have your damn friends go look for my notebook. it's important-- now! they know it's what i yell at him about. (groomsman) i was just, like, "this is ridiculous!" why would we touch the notebook? i didn't even know there was a notebook. i showed up, late. i didn't know there was a notebook. everyone needs to physically stand up, right now. one... two...

if i get to three, corey gets hurt. so, if you like corey, stand up. (announcer) convinced rey's friends have hidden her notebook, our bridezilla unleashes her wrath on all of them, who find her hysterics, hysterical. seriously! sneaky little bastards need to pay attention to me, right now! you little (deleted) need to find my notebook, right now! i need it, because, if i don't tell you what's in there, you guys are gonna f-up my wedding. so, you guys need to go find this notebook, right now! it's not funny. how are they supposed to find it? why don't you go look over there? look for yourself-- i've already looked.
