you can see just the very back end of the vehicle went right through the storefront there. we are working to get new information about any possible injuries here. but as you can see they have to shore up the building front and make sure it is safe before anything else happens. we will continue to follow that throughout the evening. >> maureen: north carolina voters will head to the polls. the first ever march primary will have a number of candidates in the states today. first lady hillary clinton says she is the right person to beat donald trump. sara blake morgan is live where clinton will beholding an event tonight. what's the crowd like there now, sara blake? >> reporter: well, maureen, the line has gone down, but about 30 minutes ago it stretched pretty far and hundreds of people were waiting in line to hear hillary clinton speak. that is not slated to happen

candidate bernie sanders. this is an event he held at the pavilion. you can see there was quite a crowd there. the state's primary is just hours away and voters have a good bit to decide on. some of the key races on the ballot include the presidential preference, north carolina governor and the state attorney general. some voters will also have congressional races listed on the ballot, but they won't count. pamela escobar explains why now on "primetime." >> reporter: the p director of elections wants people to vote tomorrow even if they are confused by voter id or the congressional races. >> the colors you see on there now are the old districts. >> reporter: the courts have said these congressional districts are not valid in america mecklenburg county. he is waiting to find out what the new lines will be like. he says when you vote on march 15th, you will see a spot to cast a vote for the u.s. house of representative. whether you select a person or

the same thing happened during the early voting. he said 55,000 people cast ballots in mecklenburg county and said they were successful in locking in their votes for all of the other races. some people seem to understand the id you are -- id requirements. if you don't have one on you at the time you go to the polls he wants you to vote. instead of using a machine you will fill out a paper ballot. >> if you don't have one because i lost my driver's license you will vote a provisional ballot and after the election we will do the research and vote your ballot after that. >> reporter: if you did file a provisional ballot you will have until next monday to show a valid id. in charlotte, pamela escobar, wbtv on your side. >> maureen: you have lots of time to get out and vote tomorrow. polls open at 6:30 in the morning and close at 7:30 tomorrow night. also holding
