a connecticut woman who sued her 12-year-old nephew over a hug. when the boy was 8-year-old he jumped into her arms at a birthday party and knocked her over and broke her wrist.

warm weather is ever coming back? >> well, i mean until next year. >> i think that we'll get a cold shot here as we head into the week. next week we are going to be warming backup. october is as give and take kind of month and today we are taking a bonus day. temperatures in the 70s two days in a row. the changes will be gradual once we head to next week. >> this is the clip notes. near 60s on friday and all the way down into the 40s by the weekend. it will not be a sharp change but you will notice it by the weekend. tonight, mild outdoors. central massachusetts is falling into the 50s but there is cooler and dryer air to the west. the dryer air is going to make a big difference. it feels tropical today. by theway, the time you get out the door tomorrow morning, the air will be much dryer. the cold front is crossing the region and a few rain showers is moving away from new hampshire. it is not expecting much at all over night. tomorrow morning, pretty mild start, you may not need a

jacket out of the bus stop. temperatures will be in the low 50s right off the bat and we are in the 60s as we head towards the afternoon. kind of between long sleeves and shortsleeves weather. here is the trend as our cold front sweeping eastward, we'll be clearing out tomorrow morning and the best time to be out toors tomorrow easily is the first half of the day. brightest sky and mild really nice. clouds are going to fill in. the afternoon will feature more cloud cover. now, once the sun goes down, the clouds will melt away and we'll be clearing out territorial night. we are still in the low 60s as well as southern new hampshire. we are in the mid to upper 60s in eastern massachusetts. thursday, another great day to be outside. a little bit brighter and plenty of sunshine and jaus touch just a touch cooler. it is going to bring some

showers and the wind kicks up behind it friday amp and then progressively colder and colder air will be sliding its way in this weekend. it should be the coldest air this season so far all across the northeast and should deliver the first freeze from much of new england. the gardens will say good-bye most likely. if you have not had a frost yet,ty bye the time we get to sunday night, it will be behind. it will be a late first froes for most of frost for most of the season. the end of the season has been pretty nice. cold enough this weekend and could be some snow flakes falling across the highlands of new england. >> it could mix with the follow folliage. cindy sent this picture in.
