teachers. he faced a judge today and the school is now telling us what it's doing to make sure that this doesn't happen again. obviously a big security scare. beth wrote pan 0 is live with new details. reporter: it always raises buildings. in this case deer hill elementary school had every reason to believe anthony binsfield was here to work on their heating system. but prosecutors say he was after something else and was sneaking around the building. he's only charged with trespassing, but did anthony binsfield also steal money from teachers wallets. he was wearing the uniform of an hvac worker when he signed heating system. >> he admitted he did not have system. reporter: police say security

cameras caught an image of him entering the school at 8:45 in the morning and leaving 34 minutes later without signing out. during the day three teachers say someone stole money from their wallets. >> do i feel a massive breach compromised? not necessarily. it's good to get something take makes you relook at your system and see how it can be better. reporter: which the school system has done. but the coincidence binsfield was recognized because he had done work at the school before and police say wearing his uniform. the school didn't know the hvac company huntington controls had fired him. thousand there will be security overlaps at the schools. >> if somebody should come announce they are there to work on something in the building and the office has no indication they were supposed to come that person will thought be add hited instead we'll receive a phone call asking if we have asked for someone to come in. reporter: now binsfield has not actually been charged with theft. his lawyer says there's going

way also finds that dcf never should have closed that investigation. new hampshire police are investigating a baby's dearth at an apartment in manchester. police are going to execute a search warrant there tonight at this time though officers don't suspect foul play. a school is back in session this lowell but still remains a mystery what caused students to suddenly become so sick. emergency crews evacuated the sullivan middle school yesterday when dozens of kids got sick. officials first to it it could have been a case of carbon monoxide poisoning but now they think it was a virus. overnight they did scrub down the entire school from top to bottom. bidding inspectors say a mysterious sound that promoted the evacuate weighs of a lexington elementary school was not due to cracking but instead was caused which bolts slipping which is apparently a normal design element to let the bidding expand and contract and is thought dangerous so school was back to normal today.

sky eye was over this construction accident this summerville. crude were repairing the bridge when they hit a pour line that sent a manhole cover flying. some damage but nobody was hurt. dangerous floodwaters crippling parts of texas tonight. what we're showing you here is usually a very quiet creek but now it's a raging river because of the heavy rain they got this morning. people living near austin are dealing with flooding emergency and evacuating their homes. some areas have received get this more than 10 inches and more rain is on the way. at least 7 students and four adults had to be rescued from two separate school buses in texas this morning. both of those buses got stuck in the high water. everyone was able to get to dry hand. >> today we are getting our first look at a deadly shootout in texas between rival biker gangs that happened in the spring. 9 people were killed. dozens more were injured. surveillance video from inside this bar shows the chaos after the first shots were fired and several of the bikers were

drawing their guns. each gang is blaming the other for instigating the violence. police recovered 480 weapons from this scene including 151 guns. one person is dead and another is seriously injured tonight after this building collapse in midtown manhattan. firefighters rescued the survivor after three hours. that person was in the rubble. the building was being demolished so workers could build a hotel here. no word what caused the collapse. stepping up security on the t. training chief is calling for change after last week's deadly stabbing at the jackson street t stop. they have launched an internal review how transit cops are deployed to you ho make these officers more visible on trains and on station platforms. last week 17-year-old mason raymond was stabbed to death at the jackson square stop a 16- year-old is charged with his murder. a moment of silence held on city hall plaza today to pay

outside downtown boston away from the cape and islands. head into the weekend basically not a whole lot to report. high pressure overhead light winds lots of sunshine. high clouds in the afternoon. watching the system on sunday warmer air will push its way in produce cloud cover. chance for a couple of sprinkles showers especially in the morning particularly north and west of boston i don't think it's going to add to much. we'll see clouds dissipate during the afternoon that's going to help us get more breezy also bring in warmer afternoon. monday to start the week is looking great. looking great. so looking at the halloween focus during the trick-or-treat time frame about 50 degrees at 5:00 p.m. we'll fall through the 40s but it will be quiet and cool and again not much wind. so pretty much any typical october or halloween type of costume not have to put on an extra jacket. low 50s tomorrow. mainly sunny skies increasing clouds on saturday night will
