eric fisher is here with a good forecast reporter: yeah, you don't have to worry about the weather that much for this year. we've had big storms this time of year over the past few years. chilly evening. winds have been calming down, no storms in sight. all great news for us as we head into halloween. tomorrow morning, chilly, 20s and 30s in the city. we'll rebound nicely into the 50s during the day. how about trick or treating time? temperatures will be sliding back in the 40s. scattered clouds but light winds. not talking about any significant weather issues. the only thing scary, keep in mind, daylight savings time is coming to an end that means tomorrow's sun set is at 5:39 but on sunday, it's 4:38. new at 11:00, the search is on for a

doctor biking to work. the whole thing caught -- surveillance video. julie, the victim says this was road rage. reporter: lisa, as you can probably see, there aren't any bike lanes here, its a busy this doctor tells would be his biggest obstacle. he knows he's fortunate just to be holding his son. >> i remember laying on the ground holding my wrist and then looking up and noticing that it was in a direction that it shouldn't be going. reporter: last month, the doctor at mgh was commuting to work on his bike, something he does every day, when he says the driver of this pickup truck took issue. >> all i heard was just get out of the way, get off the road. all i remember is seek him pull at me and he was coming at an angle that i knew he was going to hit me.

and stealing from teachers. the school actually let him in time and time again. the man has been charge with trespassing. prosecutors say he was fired from the company he worked for but he wore his old uniform so the school would let him in. going to jail assaulting a classmate could have had a lighter we learned that he rejected a string of plea deals. . the u.s. will send troops into syria tonight isis. this represents a 180 for the -- to fight isis. this represents a 180 for the obama administration which said there would be no boots on the ground. reporter: up to 50 special operations troops will be on the ground in northern syria. now the white house says this is not a combat mission but it is the first time they'll be

. reporter: the white house calls special forces their way to syria advisors. >> they do not have a combat mission. reporter: they will assess and help coordinate arab and curdish fighters. the forces are expected to spend up to 60 days at the head quarters of u.s. pack fighters. the u.s. has conducted air strikes over the past year. those strikes will also increase. >> the core of our military strategy core of local isil in the ground country. situation is today more promising than it has been in some time because of all the stake holders.

nausea in chemo patients. >> we've seen horrible injuries. reporter: this attorney has seen many effected by the drugs but only those who took the brand name are allowed to file suit. >> current law does not allow for generic manufacturers to be held accountable. reporter: so even though recent studies have linked the medication to birth defects, identical drug can't be sued. that's why this mother is hoping to change that and make it so that brand manufacturers are held responsibility for their generic states. for the brand to be made responsible in
