sandwich police investigating the death of a one-month-old girl. the police came to the home just after 7:00 this morning after the reports of an unresponsive child and the officer could not revive the infants. and the doctors said that the baby girl died from sids. a man arrested after a standoff in canton has died from his injuries. it happened this morning that the man attacked his brother and then barricaded himself inside the home on washington street. the s.w.a.t. team was there for hours before the police finally went into the home and they found the man who was injured. and the district attorney said that he has since died. two people are under arrest after a violent carjacking on dorchester that is around 11:30. and men pointed a gun at the driver of a toyota seen na and got in the car and drove off. both men facing eye number of charges, including kidnapping

and assault. a teenager and two 12 years 12-year-olds and another teen accused of throwing blocks over the bridge. >> reporter: the police describe this as a despicable and heartless crime and the type of bb gun the kids were using was so dangerous. it is almost an exact replica of a real gun that the police use on the force. and it happened around 10:00 this morning when two 12-year- olds and a 14-year-old were throwing rocks and shooting a bb gun gathered under a railroad bridge under local and it left them with welts. and the bb guns that they were using looked like the real gun that's the police use on the

57. so we head into thursday, the winds more southerly again and it is still beautiful outside and the best chance of cloud cover along south coast and the islands with the southerly flow coming over the water. and a lot of energy misses us off to the north and a little chance for a shower late thursday night into friday morning. and the rain showers will be few and far bee between and look at the temperature trend and staying well above that mark and 70s are likely for thursday and friday and we start to creep back down as we head into the weekend, albeit temporarily. friday is the day. and we're keeping an eye on that one. and forecasting 74 in boston. and the record is 73. the front brings in cooler air for saturday. but this weekend, a little gusty on saturday, sunday full sunshine and less wind and looking excellent to be outside and good football weather for

the patriots and light north early wind sunday afternoon. and sunday is the only chilly one and we're back into the upper 50s by monday and tuesday wednesday. so it looks like the pattern, for the most part sticking around for the month. a bit of shaking in new england this week, a 2.4 earthquake rocked maine on sunday and centered about 17 miles off the coast. and the small earthquake was the strongest recorded in the state since may. four fishermen are back on solid ground after a month drifting in the ocean. they left ecuador to do fishing in late september and they got lost and they run out of fuel and the ocean current pushed them to the mexican coast. they are expected to be just fine.
